Depends on what kind of places you hang out in..... When I was in the Navy, I knew a CPO who said that when he retired from the Navy he was going to ship aboard a Greek Vaseline freighter where all the doorways were three feet off the deck...

Good job, Stevie !! Taking an adult gobbler with a bow is no small feat....Congrats ! So that's what compound bows look like these days ? That's a little more intricate than my Darton SL-50, which was my first compound...<<grin>>....

Congrats on a fine bird, my friend.... I still remember my first spring gobbler...It was a jake and I killed him May 15, 1975, hunting before work as you were....I still have his wishbone on my memory shelf, with the date written on it...

I'll be there....I have a weekend pass from the HOME that weekend... My nurse has to accompany me, though...Just look for a Hispanic girl with big hooters and purple eyelids.. I'll be the short guy right behind her..

Cool !!..Two years ago I saw a sow with triplets on our property, then last year I was on my way up the hill to the property and a sow with quadruplets crossed the road in front of my truck..

I first noticed them last spring while gobbler hunting in Ontario...They drove me nuts for a couple of days before I ID'd them... I saw them again this spring up there...The ones I saw were mostly the greaters with a few of the lesser mixed in.

It's a lesser yellowlegs.....They winter in South America and nest in the arctic, so we only see them passing through...They often travel in flocks with greater yellowlegs...The species are very similar except the greater has a longer bill and longer legs...The lesser are about 2/3 the size of the greater. Other than that, I don't know a thing about them...<<smile>>....

I'll build it big enough for three normal sized people OR for you and me... Heat yes, but no electricity...Propane heater....We'll have to bring a thermos and cold cuts.. One of my buddies has satellite TV and a microwave in his blind...he powers it with a 300 yard extension cord from his house.. -

I've lived in the area all my life, and trust me, the rattlesnakes aren't nearly as popular with the residents as they are with the DEC. The old timers around here just shake their heads ....
