  1. He can throw is hat in the ring if he wants, but he will NEVER be POTUS. I can guarantee you that. Trump can be an arrogant cuss too, but the kind of arrogance that Cuomo possesses won't get him elected dog catcher nationally. Bill Clinton and Obama were tame compared to him. He clung onto his daddy's coattails to the governership, but that's as far as he is going to get.
  2. You snookered that poor old lady into paying you $5K for that painting and now they are about to tell her that it ain't worth $#!+. I'd be ashamed! LOL
  3. Knowing the mindset on this forum, I'm sure it won't be long before someone petitions their state representatives to open up a hunting season for them! LOL
  4. I morally object everyone and everything that is objectionable! I hope that covers all the bases for me!! LOL
  5. Kids that have parents who don't hunt will most likely not hunt, but having parents who DO hunt surely isn't a guarantee neither. Lots of things to capture kids attentions these days that they find way more interesting than freezing their butts in the woods for hours and days waiting for a deer or turkey to come by. I also know many adult hunters who have given it up for one reason or another in recent years. Do you think their kids will be hunting? I bet not!
  6. I wouldn't be surprised that my heirs sell my guns to the first lowest bidder that shows interest in them once they roll me into the ground, so I don't feel the need to do anything special to protect them from fire or theft. I keep them in a wooden gun cabinet that anyone can honestly break into. If I lose them so be it. I'll just buy new ones. Don't really need too many anyway for the little hunting and shooting I get to do these days.
  7. You get a free tote bag with Wooly's picture on it if you join up soon. Hurry while supplies last!
  8. I agree with most of what you say, but if there was actually a good republican (and that's the big IF) candidate put up against him and if EVERYONE voted upstate, he could be brought down. Most think that the downstate vote can't be surmounted, but this is NOT true. Not many people actually vote down there, especially in NYC. Just check out the last Gubernatorial and Mayoral election results from the city. Only a bit over 1 million people voted in the city. Certainly enough people upstate to top this if EVERYONE actually voted. The problem is pretty much the same upstate as everywhere else, where most people don't bother to vote and then let the idiots vote these clowns in over and over and over again.
  9. As far as I know, Eagles are classified as birds of prey. Haven't you ever seen film of them fly over water and pull a fish out? Sure, they can be scavengers, too, but what animal isn't, including humans?? Put an easy meal out there and it won't be long before something helps themselves to it.
  10. Happy Birthday Pygmy. Doesn't it seem like a huge coincidence that you were born on the day that leprechauns are known to be running around??
  11. Trust me, plenty of whites out there who'd be more than happy to take all your guns away. The liberal media (that is run by whites) seems to be in love with black culture these days and tries to show them in a positive light every chance they get, but the reality is that there are plenty of whites out there who you need to blame before you come to the conclusion that it's majority blacks who are protesting here. And the number of whites who are against you is growing every day and I don't see things swinging the other way as these kids grow up and leave school.
  12. Don't really understand your question? I simply think this is something that those who are believers would find humorous since Hawking did not believe in heaven or an afterlife. I am not saying I agree with this attempt in humor, but that's how I see it. More to do with Hawking not believing than it does with his disability. Just a typical type joke that both sides of the political aisle will throw at each other these days. Wooly in his above post may have been joking, but I would agree that people these days are way too sensitive about everything. People have become zombies and actually don't even understand humor or sarcasm anymore.
  13. Hawking was famous for saying that there is no heaven or afterlife, so I think that's where they were going with that picture. I think it had more to do with him being a non-believer than about his disability.
  14. Yeah, Wooly's account sounded a bit too real didn't it? Knowing all the time he spends in the woods, one starts to wonder? There's got to be help out there for these poor folks, there just has to!! Maybe they can post a picture of themselves on #Metoo. Hell being violated by Bigfoot can't be any worse than that Weinstein guy. He looks just as hairy.
  15. I agree, but be prepared for a lawsuit from the NRA that you are violating the constitutional rights of Bigfoot believers. They are Americans too!!
  16. My opinion has been formed long ago that there is no such creature. If there was he would have been shot, killed, captured LONG ago. With humans accessing and exploiting even the remotest parts of the earth, do you really think a creature like this Bigfoot would have escaped humans for this long? Get serious. All this Bigfoot is, is a figment of people's wild imaginations or the result of seeing something in the woods after having one too many drinks.
  17. Help with what? You think they will help convince us that Bigfoot actually exists??
  18. You are not going to find very many moderately priced guns under 6 lbs. You want a scope on it? Then even less chances of finding one.
  19. I would sooner choose the 7.62 before the .223 if I had to choose between them. It doesn't have great range, but at least the deer would be absorbing a .30 caliber slug.
  20. Any caliber will kill a deer in the perfect situation, but in hunting the situation is rarely perfect. Of the scores of good deer caliber out there, the .223 would be close to the bottom of my list. Ever since the increased popularity of these AR type rifles, all of a sudden the .223 is being thrown in the mix of deer calibers which is baloney in my opinion. There are reasons why many states don't allow calibers less than .24. NYS may allow the .223, but there are many things that NYS don't know JACK about, and this is probably just another example of that.
  21. I was mostly pulling your leg. I do however have a hard time understanding why some of you need to post pictures of what you eat just about every day? Yeah, I know, some will tell me not to look at the thread then, but that still doesn't answer my question of what the fascination is with photographing ones dinner??? Hell, I sit down and eat mine and could care less about taking pictures of it before I devour it. Then I get up to wash the dishes. I would have thought that after 277 pages and since 2014 the thread would have died, but I guess I must be missing out on something?? You guys can flame away at me if you want, but I'm just asking a question.
  22. Geez Biz, with all this fancy eating and beer drinking you do daily your life expectancy can't be too long. I hope I am wrong. Might be smart to give one of us here that Weatherby for safe keeping??
  23. I have to admit, I am rather stingy when it comes to giving venison away. First off, it's not like I get to kill 5 or 10 deer a year, so the one or two I get won't go a long way if I start giving it away. I do share with my mother who loves to cook and then most every time will share what she has cooked up back with us. Certainly have shared meals with people I know that like venison. The biggest bummer in giving it away is when you give it to someone who has never ate it or maybe ate some that someone else prepared. You give them a piece or two and then they proceed to cook it to death and then come back to tell you telling you it sucked. That makes my blood boil for sure, and is one of the main reasons I don't like to share it with people who have never tried it or don't know a damned thing about preparing it correctly.
  24. I definitely agree that people could go without a lot of material things and still be perfectly content. Not blaming all women, but in general women are way better nurturers of children than men will ever be, so if there is one parent to stay home to raise the kids I think women are better qualified. Many women don't want to hear any such notion that they should just stay home and raise the kids, so in those cases I definitely would blame the woman. Especially if the husband is fine giving up the material things to raise the family on one salary while allowing the wife to stay home and raise the kids. I think if a poll was taken, these days you'd have more men content with the wife staying home to raise the kids than you would women. A lot of women want it all, and that is not always possible. In fact it rarely is.
