No, he cut and pasted that off the Chinese restaurant menu he ordered from last night. That's Chinese for Chop Suey. Wasn't too great according to First Light. He wasn't abducted, just spending more time than he'd like in the bathroom this morning! LOL
-
Elmo, I guess your link brings us back to the beginning of the thread where someone suggested putting sponges in sausage casings as a way to kill coyotes. Maybe this product would be a good substitute for real sponges?

Any trip Culver has planned out should be top notch! Good luck to both of you. This is just my opinion, but I would think any bear could be considered a shooter on ones first bear hunt.

I don't think there is a total ban on selling toy guns within the state, is there? Maybe it's only a ban on shipping them to NYS? Definitely a stupid law, but I am pretty sure I've seen toy guns being sold at toy sections of some smaller stores in NYS. From my COLD dead hands will they take my lone ranger pistol and holster that I've had since I was a kid!!

Insurance companies are good in collecting premiums from you and that's about it. When you put in a claim they will do their damndest to weasel their way out of not paying you anything or the least amount possible. They ALL stink in my opinion!

OK thanks for explaining. It's almost understandable now. Never mind Dykstra being traded, there IS a certain stigma being a Met fan, so I will give you a pass on this one. Some of the dorkiest looking baseball fans I've ever seen have been Mets fans, so I could understand how someone would not want to be associated with that bunch! LOL

Judge visualized Biz's head floating towards the plate that's why he was able to get such a great cut at that pitch! LOL
-
Biz, what I would like to know is how the hell did you become a Boston Red Sox fan growing up close to NYC?? Your NY buddies who are probably Yankees or Mets fans must love you? Honestly, we should start a collection here to ship you to Massachusetts since you like the Red Sox so much!! One way shipment with NO return. LOL
-
Mets typically play like Hall of Famers in April, and then like Pee Wee leaguers the rest of the season!!

That's the problem with people taking antibiotics for the simplest of ailments. I am not saying that Lyme disease isn't serious, but I know so many people that will run to the doctor to get medication for things that really don't need medication. After a while NOTHING works on these people. They have been drugged up so much that they have no immunity left of their own and the meds don't work anymore either. I would like to see a study of the people who have come down with Lyme disease and how many of these people have been regular users of prescription medications. I bet you'd find some correlations.

I'd go back to the same spot, but l think your gun is defective. I'll open the bidding for it at $2.50.

Water Rat, why do you even waste a shotshell on wild turkey's? Looks like you can just open your front door and have them waddle into your kitchen. From there you can have them walk right into your oven. Shut it and set at 325 for 4 1/2 hours! You don't need to waste a trip to Wegman's for that Butterball. LOL

I'm sure he's running back to the deposit site at the moment to take a few pics! LOL
-
Don't they say on this forum "pictures or it didn't happen"? I don't know if we want pictures of that. LOL
-
It sounds like you didn't have exclusive rights to this property. So lets say another hunter was set up a few hundred yards away from you and was calling and a Boone & Crockett turkey waddles by you on his way towards the other hunter. Would you shoot at that bird or let him walk towards the other hunter?

And all the venison is going into a crockpot down at the DEC station. The stew and chili should be ready by tonight for the beer bash!
-
Even if it was the law, who would ever know? Hard enough to get a DEC officer to check out game violations in the field, I highly doubt they will be looking in your freezer for dates written on the packages of meat.

From the antlers or meat thread , do you like venison

For your sake I'm glad that wasn't a Yeti cooler you had in your picture. Angry mobs of NRA members are on the lookout for them! LOL -

Most of the venison that is consumed in this country comes from free ranging wild deer. In many states it is illegal to sell wild game meat, and that is a good thing. In our part of the world raising cattle has been very profitable and thus our society has been programmed that beef should be the meat of choice. You go elsewhere in the world and beef is not used nearly as much as it is in this country. Venison IS good, and to me and many others it is preferable over beef. Just because it is not sold in stores has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of it. -
I can respect the other reasons why people hunt. I know people who hunt just to get away from their nagging wives, but that isn't relevant to the original question in this thread. I for one would like to see what is actually MOST important to deer hunters. The meat or the antlers, and where there is no in-between or any ifs ands or buts. If one can't decide, then they shouldn't vote. Just like during a presidential election, we either vote for the republican or democrat, and if we don't like either, we stay home and let the others decide.
-
I think someone should put up a real voting poll on this, where the only choices are meat or antlers. FSW has said in the past that deer hunting is 95% plus all about antlers, while wolc123 somehow has his own statistics favoring meat hunters. Having a poll with only the two choices would settle matters once and for all here in my opinion.
-
Meat. If antlers were somehow the only thing I was allowed to keep from deer hunting I would not bother to hunt.

Here one, sort of. http://amishdepot.com/

Dinsdale's Guide? Dude hauls wildebeast out solo!
steve863 replied to Jdubs's topic in General Hunting
I call BS on this video. Yeah, it looks impressive hauling that big critter on his back like that, but he's probably only doing it to get a quick video to promote his safari business. As soon as the cameras are turned off he leaves it to the black guys to haul it the rest of the way. As is the usual!! -
What difference does that make? We thought you were simply looking for a place that will take your old TV?
