  1. My goal is to get it in gear!!! We have a new lease and haven't had any time to get down there and scout much this summer with the new granddaughter's arrival. It's going to be last minute set up in September I think. I haven't even been out to our usual spot out in Orangeville yet, I have to pull 3 ladders to move to the new lease and this weekend is the Christening so once again... nothing will get done other than a few practice shots in the yard. Above all, I simply intend on having fun with my sons and being thankful that I'm able to be out there with them for my 41st bow season.
  2. I don't know... I don't think its possible that its the same deer. Rack may be really close, but I can't see that 2016 pic being a 1 1/2 yo and the 2019 doesn't look like a 5 1/2 + deer to me.. I agree with Biz
  3. Speaking of restrictions, no restrictions seems to be the norm in Erie county now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah, things are changing rapidly. Wife and I applied in April, they arrived last week. Kearns is saying he will have it down to 3 months by the end of the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. 15 months?!!! Dear lord. Wait time is down to about 4 months in Erie Co. as of now. Mickey Kearns has made a lot of positive changes at the PP office. Congratulations!
  6. Eden Corn Fest starts tomorrow.
  7. They can all work well and they can all fail. Shoot what you're confident with. I have had both good and poor results from Grim Reapers, Rage, NAP and God knows what else when I first started shooting mechanicals in the early 2000s. There is no magic broadhead that works perfectly every time. Too many variable. I was shocked one time to see a grim reaper blow through two shoulder blades, and then to watch one nearly bounce off of a deer with an inch of penetration a week or so later. My feeling is that they can all work perfectly when placed perfectly and they can all fail for any number of reasons. I have a new set up this year and want to try something new so I'm probably going back to fixed, Magnus Black Hornets. But the Rage Hypodermic is calling to me... They give me penetration anxiety though!
  8. 94 acre lease in Chautauqua Co. 50 acres in Wyoming county that a friend owns and doesn't hunt, we are the only ones with access. Chautauqua is a new property for us this year and it is looking promising. We pulled the card on only one of the 5 cameras yesterday, lots of fawns and does and 5 decent bucks. This is one of them, I'm getting excited!!!

  10. Haha! Nope, just a 20 year old small composite filling that popped out yesterday. Thankfully no big deal. Thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes, it was a good one. My boys got me a bottle of Makers Mark and a Tight Spot quiver for the new Bowtech! Couldnt be happier! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks all! Kicking off the day with an unplanned trip to the dentist...good times! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Maybe contact the NYS Gaming Commission, I believe they regulate private raffles. https://www.gaming.ny.gov/pdf/REVISED Raffle Guidelines 7 7 2017.pdf
  14. Awesome! You're gonna love it! My wife bought a Sahara Unlimited last summer and she had the top off more than it was on. The hard top is great for upstate winters and is even easier to remove/install than the soft tops, we've got it down to 7 minutes. Have fun and learn the proper "Jeep Wave" etiquette!
  15. The last time I was at the vet for something other than regular visits was when my Weimaraner became ill and was vomiting for 24 hrs. $600 later They said he had the flu. Absolutely crazy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. OK then... back on track. Thanks for posting this! I am planning on doing a few no-till plots this year and have never done it before. Good info!
  17. I wouldn't dismiss the Sander's Guide simply because of it's age, there is a TON of good information in it. I'm pretty sure I got mine back around 1990 and I still go back to it from time to time and cross reference it with the stocking list from the DEC website.
  18. Yes, for sure! That's the point.
  19. What? There is no "messing around". You're buying the exact same item that your doctor sells. My doctor gave me a price on Air Optic multi-focal contacts of $400+ for a 12 month supply. She told me to order them online because that's what she was going to do... You enter your script and doctor info and they contact your Dr. to approve it. I paid $120 for Air Optic multi-focal contacts at Lens.com. That's nearly a $300 difference, every year.
  20. I buy everything from Lens.com. Do a google search for the exact item you are looking for, most of the time the Lens.com link from that search will be cheaper than navigating within the Lens.com site itself. Don't ask me why, but it is always the case for me. I have never had an issue with them and I get the best prices for my particular contacts there. I save hundreds of dollars buying there compared to the eye doc.
  21. I have neither, maybe you do. The test videos I have seen of the new Shelby GT350R are impressive, not a supercar, but the comment was sports car... I CAN say that my Ariens 28 Deluxe SHO with Auto-turn handles GREAT on both straight lines of the driveway and curved sidewalks. I might even call it a Superblower. : )
  22. Yeah, the GT for sure! Plus the new Mustang 350R is supposed to be an insane car!
