  1. I use the HME mount. They come in a 3 pack ($10.00 - $15.00) They don't have the angle adjustment option, but you can put them in at an angle and bend them slightly if needed. Seems like the camera is less noticeable when there is no strap around the tree.m
  2. I've been using their stuff for about 3 yrs. I'm very happy with it. The fit is great and it is very quiet
  3. He's a dandy .....don't burn out the stand! Soon you'll be able to reach out a bit farther. Good Luck
  4. Agreed .... that's all I run ! Very happy with them
  5. Commercial grade slicer for sale. Bought new but hardly ever use it. Asking $350.00 plus shipping if required.
  6. Well deserved ..... nice to see the hard work pay off. Congratulations!
  7. Weston #22 .... Love it! Bought it this time of year on sale. Year later bought a vacuum sealer from them. Equally happy with that.
  8. Your going to love the wooltimate jacket. Bought one last year on sale and so far it's been great. First Lite had a good sale going which included cold weather bibs. I purchased their sanctuary bibs and used them during the Thanksgiving cold and later in muzzleloader season ...... VERY happy with them! They are warm, great fit and very quiet. Another brand worth looking at is Pnuma : https://www.pnumaoutdoors.com/ Good luck with your search!
  9. Yep ..... saw two on Valentines Day still carrying.
  10. Buddy of mine took his 85 yr. old father to Colorado a few years ago and his dad scored. Since your just now in the planning stage, I would suggest going to the Great American Outdoor show next year in Harrisburg, Pa. There are so many outfitters there from so many states that you can meet and talk to. It will at least give you an idea of how to start. And if you think about it ... your going to stay with the guy and be hunting with him or one of his guides. Wouldn't it be nice to get to know how they do things and face to face is still the best way. No matter where you go it's an investment. (Guide, License, Travel expense, etc). Your right to research it way ahead.
  11. It wouldn't happen to be the Pro-GT with 3-way pan/tilt head would it? That is the one that is recommended by Vortex
  12. I'm looking for advise for a tripod to put under a new spotting scope. It weighs close to four lbs. Whats good?
  13. https://www.activejunky.com/articles/best-trail-cameras Spypoint has a solar offering ..... seems like a good concept.
  14. Anyone looking for decent deals on Hunting clothing, boots, etc. may want to checkout MidwayUSA under the Big Game Seasonal Blow out heading. Nice deals on some good name gear
  15. I've had good luck with Barronett blinds. I have the big Mike for archery and the Grounder 250 for gun. I like the window set up on the Grounder better but the quality of both is great.
  16. I'm redeploying some this week based on late season observations ..... plus some placed for varmints.
  17. Very Sad .... I so looked forward to his rut predictions and many other articles. He will surely be missed.
