My first thought was I wonder if that guys reloads since the government, and postal workers are buying up ammo. Well put but I can't agree with everything he said. Yotes going for deer/fawns is not as isolated as some want others to think. I've also witnessed yotes take down a doe, and watched them rip into it's hind and unborn fawns Wayne Co. Opportunistic good times.

How about those clowns concentrate on finishing up the new confinement sarcophagus over Chernobyl instead.

Yes it is, if you have a place to go. -
So I scoot up to camp last weekend, figured I wouldn't need the chainsaw. 50 yards.

I like it.

Having recently had property logged I can say this; if your serious about logging get a forester to look at it. It was high cut years ago so unfortunately the profit margin was mild.

Amazing how many people in this country listened to that douchbag.

Since I got into Archery I've done much less fall Turkey. Haven't shot a hen in a long time. Point is for Spring I usually hit a few spots in the SZ, as where I am in the NZ there happens to be far less Turkey to begin with. Imo some zones seasons should be adjust for this fact similar to dmp's instead of a general open approach.

How far up this road is this camp / property? If you can park at or near the road entrance how about a cheaper alternative such as snowshoes and a gear cart. I do this a few times over the winter just for maintenance checks and a break. http://youtu.be/fa2gAoWyPKU

The Great Corn Debate - 1/2 Acre Plots
Fantail replied to LetEmGrow's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
If plans go well by spring next year, I should be able to roll with a 1/2-2/3 acre forage soy plot. For the size and yield but even then that might not be enough.- 12 replies

Google 'Plastic Island' or 'Pacific garbage patch'.

I use this with vegetables & fish, makes a great onion ring mix too. 2 large eggs 1 12oz beer. 1&1/2 cups flour 1 tsp salt - garlic salt (optional) Slab all that in a bowl and mix it up well. If you don't have a fryer you don't need one, but you'll need a decent size soup pan to hold 5 cups veg oil with breathing room and a oven thermometer that'll go to at least 400. Get the oil on medium to 375 ish. A metal scoop or tongs comes in handy plus something to dry/drain your jazz once it's done.

What is your greatest memory while hunting?
Fantail replied to DeerStalker22's topic in General Hunting
The day I called in my son's first Turkey is right at the top of the list. -
Well, I 'think' about getting the work and projects done on the property to get it where I want it. Or perhaps to what I'm aiming for, making it better than it was etc. But it's still a ways off, a few years in fact to get it all done. Phases, managing, molding, what ever term floats the barge, it's a good deal of work, work in progress. And it really doesn't stop at any one point, it's more of an accumulation of stuff to keep an eye on or the rest of the work could wind up in vain. In this case dreaming seems like allot of talking, which relay means nothing gets done until you buy some work gloves and a shovel, so to say.

When I had a lease in Wayne Co years ago and got off the interstate at Weedsport I stopped by there now and then. If memory servs he had a spotted dog that would sniff your butt. Yeah he was a good guy. Bought 22wmr there when it was only 8-9$ a box.

Maybe we can get the DEC to ticket the DOT for baiting.

Good luck & hope it works out. Noticed the tear drop pond, looks like a good water hole for the area, and a goose magnet
