Don't really have games, just an addiction to reloading and a 400yd range in the back yard with steel targets set up from 10-400yds. Once a load is developed and the gun is sighted in I never shoot of a bench unless it's to confirm zero. When I was an instructor for a tactical shooting school we would get in the know it all type every week. We had a 2 strikes you're out rule. When we would tell someone what they were doing wrong and they would tell us why it was strike 1, after 2 of those they are on their own and wasted the 750$. These are the same guys that at the end during the final shoot "basically a couple different 3 gun stages" and their scores were no better than when the week started they would complain write bad reviews and ask for refunds. That was the worst part of that gig was idiots. There are a lot of people in this world that think they know more than they actually do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a bit of a herd around here. 2016 Honda foreman 450, 96 Suzuki king quad 300, 93 Honda fourtrax 300, 86 Honda 250R 3 wheeler, 86 Honda 350X 3 wheeler and a 2014 Kubota RTV 500. The two 3 wheelers are my youth that I can't let go of. The 350X gets ridden once in a while and the 250R looks good in the barn. The old fourtrax gets ridden more than all the others combined, that old thing won't die. Last year it wouldn't start one day so I went out and bought the new one a couple days later I went out and it fired up first try and has about everyday since, the new foreman has 17 miles on it in the year and a half I have owned it. I have a 86 Nissan 300z and a 68 CHEVY 4x4. The 300z is a twin turbo and runs but is still in pieces and the truck is a long ways from being on the road but has a modern 6.0gm motor that will have a turbo. Both of these projects were started when I was in high school. I keep telling my daughter that she can take the truck to her prom so I better get working on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have tried 5 or 6 and hated everyone. I still wear just a safety belt. Fits in a pocket, weighs nothing and doesn't restrict movement. I had a fall a couple years ago while hanging a stand and it really sucked when the belt got tight but it beat the hell out of falling to the ground. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have been in a chain outdoor store a total of 1 time in the last year and a half and it was the cabelas in Connecticut I bought split shots because they were lead now I have 10lbs of them and I likely won't need them again for a while. For Hunting clothes I wear wool/flannel most of the time so those stores don't carry them anyways, ammo I reload and guns I buy from small shops or online. I don't think this will affect me at all. Prices will only go as high as the consumer lets them so I don't think it will be too big of a deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My truck has 400hp as well, difference is my truck doesn't cause pain when I put my foot in it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I'm surprised by how many of you guys shoot 3.5's for turkeys, not worth it to me they are just brutal. I have never wounded a turkey and thought if I had a 3.5 he would have died. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Most recoil was my 535 shooting 3.5". Most unpleasant would be my Handi rifle in 500S&W closely followed by my Tikka T3 in 35whelen. Neither of them kick that bad but they are both very light and are jumpy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I'm with Grampy, 1000$ is a fair price for a non running 30yr old aluminum boat. If the seller fixed the trailer and got it running it is worth 2000-3500$ depending on shape and accessories. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not my style but it looks pretty cool. Everyone keeps talking about price being 1600$ you guys realize that is about what most top bows sell for when rigged. You can pay 200$ -2000 for a new bow whether is an Xbow, compound, recurve or Longbow so price is a non issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Haha, and I like to call the bigger ones "sturdy." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We usually get more moose pics than deer on trail cams at our camp. They love 5-10yr old cuts and a beaver dam across a Vly are great places to start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't like to call them ugly, I prefer utilitarian. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Probably 15 years ago my wife/girlfriend at the times uncle wanted me to bring him turkey hunting on property he had permission to hunt. Got over there and set up on the dark on a ridge. Way before first light a bird started gobbling his head off 150yds away. That bird flew down and gobbled more than any other turkey I have ever heard for 2 hrs but would not come across a stream that was between us. I kept telling him we had to cross it but he refused finally I said fine I will so I waited for the bird to turn away took my pants off waded the chest deep water and by the time I made it through the bird was turned back towards me so I tucked behind a tree and yelped softly. The bird was probably 60 yds from me and I killed him at 5 yds while he was still at a dead sprint. Needless to say he was totally pissed and has never hunted with me again "not a big loss." That is my biggest bird to date and weighed 23lbs and had an 11 1/2" beard, don't know what his Spurs were because back then I didn't know they mattered. The best part was I killed him wearing underwear and a Tshirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hmmm, a 358 Winchester could be fun, I still don't have a 338 federal either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I might have to buy one of these to have bored to a 35whelen, I would have to get a plastic stock that wood is way to pretty for the way I would use it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Timney trigger is on the way so I can ditch the awful factory trigger. Shot another 20 shots today and Im liking it more and more. I did a little sanding to the stock and it doesn't seem to be as fussy with hand placement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wish I could say that was normal but it's not. I can walk out my door and shoot and shoot a few times a week so that certainly helps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
