Just enjoy the darn peace and quiet!

Careful Biz. Hard to commute on crutches!

Prayers sent. Hope your healing time will be short and as pain free as possible! Sounds like your tuck and roll may have saved you from worse injuries. Feel better soon!

Nope, Nada, No BANANA's on my fishing boat!!!! A couple years ago I took a co-worker up to Saratoga Lake for some bass fishing. That is one place where ANYONE can catch bass at just about anytime. I also have won a few tournaments there, over the years. Well, after fishing on a perfect day for more than three hours, we had not caught one dang fish!! So he decides to take a break and opens his little square coleman cooler for a bite to eat and a drink. And there on top I see two BANANA'S! "Sorry Joe, these gotta go." He must have thought I was nuts as I tossed them over the side. But within 15 minutes, we were both landing bass! And I explained the reason for tossing the Nanner's. Coincidence? I don't think so.......

No problem there. Have beer will travel! Only problem is, once I get to talking hunting and fishing, I don't shut up! But I'm a good listener too!
-
I saw this earlier. But couldn't post a link. I can sure think of better ways to deal with the deer problem than giving them vasectomys. Jeez.......

Congratulations Rob! Your own little slice of paradise! Best of luck to ya! Will have to drop in some time for a cold one, once you get settled in.

Yup! Even on my little boat, you bring a banana, you swim home!

Yes, I put in at the cornfield launch. It's a lot nicer and less busy than the Kiwanis launch. Plus I love that stretch of the river! Just remember to put a few dollars in the can to keep it open. Between 6 and 7 use the Spro Frog in the pads for some good LM action down there! Or drag a weightless black Senko across the top, rigged weedless of course. Best of luck to ya!

It's a BIG jump from a crossbow to a high powered rifle. IMO.

I respectfully disagree Bowguy. The range is the same as a modern compound. Sill shoots an arrow/bolt off a string and just has a different release mechanism, although my compound release has a trigger too. There are always things we don't like that others do in hunting. But if they are legal, does that make them wrong for everyone? Very simply put, if something is not for you, don't use it. Hunt how you want. And let others do the same.

Yup, that's a buck for sure! You and you Dad are going to have a great season on that property, by the looks of the pic's . Memories will be made!!!!

I don't have one. But it looks like a good idea! Could use it for deer hunting too.

Happy Birthday! Hope you have some fun stuff lined up! -
Nice! And good hunting!

Hey, at least you went out on the porch!

Sounds like a great day on the water! Even if fishing is slow. Any day on the water is a good one!

Most of the smallmouth including the biggest were caught on a quarter ounce white and chartreuse swim bait. In 8 to 12 feet of water, kinda close to shore. Most important was to cast to the shade of overhanging trees. Also bring along a quarter ounce white double willow blade spinnerbait and a craw imitation crankbait. Best of luck to ya! PM sent also.

Was getting pretty dry in these parts. Needed to wash the heavy pollen off everything. And the crop fields are getting some much needed moisture too. Good day for indoor projects!
