    Boat Question

I've owned boats for over 40 years. All but one have been fishing boats. The one was a fish and ski made by Sunbird. Lower end boat with a 90hp Johnson OB . It was great for pulling the kids on ski's and floats. Only so so for fishing. If you are going to mostly fish, buy a fishing boat!
  2. Are the baits salt impregnated? Any attractants used? I'd be willing to try them out! Got a smoke color with black flake?
  3. Had to reread it after the first time,....then I tried not to, but LOL anyway!
  4. Thanks for taking us with you on another walk in the woods! As always, good stuff!
  5. No rain here.......yet. Things are getting very dry. A good soaking rain is much needed!
  6. Very cool and eye catching. Best of luck phade!
  7. Good deal! Always better to come across as a good guy, instead of a hard azz. Most times it will work out to your favor.
  8. Getting low on a couple of my favorite soft baits. My wife just asked if I would like to go to the Bass Pro Shops in Utica. Well heck yeah says I!! Leaving in just a bit. She does not hunt or fish but is my biggest supporter of all my outdoor adventures. I'm a lucky man! Since we'll be out that way, I'll stop at Turning Stone to let her play the Willie Wonka machine for a bit! A win-win day for us both!
  9. These days, just about everything we eat, drink, see and do is reported to be bad for "our" health. I think I'll just live my life how I like and take my chances.
  10. Nice buck! The excitement is starting to build!

    Saranac Lake

Looks like you had a better than average day! And what a beautiful lake! Nice!
  12. Looks like a great place to take a kid fishing! Nice pictures!
  13. Even if the fishing was just so-so. It looks like a great place and you all ate VERY well! Good times and memories were made! And sometimes it's just nice to get away!
  14. A good deal. Looks like you get a lot of crossbow for a reasonable cost.
  15. Just a feeble attempt at self depreciatory humor. My point is for me to keep things as simple as possible for hunting situations. That works best for me.
  16. I don't think it was brought up on the floor for a vote.
  17. Never heard of it before this post. I'll definitely be looking to get one now! Thanks!
  18. Very informative video. I used the Remington copper sabots for many years when hunting with a slug gun. The were very accurate out of my Ithica. Last year was the first with a rifle for me. I did try a solid copper bullet but did not get as good a group as the Nosler ammo that shot great. Perhaps I'll try the copper ammo again. But will not try to sway another hunter in his choice or vote for another regulation placed on hunters. Also I've been eating lead shot venison all my life. Perhaps that explains a few things!
  19. I'd like to see how he turns out too!! He's gonna be a real good one for sure. Good post!
  20. What an awesome buck!
  21. Lots of thunder and lightning, but only about a quarter inch of rain here.
  22. Happy Birthday! Hot enough for a couple of cold ones! Enjoy your day!
  23. A good hunter will be a good hunter. No matter where they hunt. And you deerpassion, are a good hunter!
  24. Yeah, I too will miss your posts as well. Best of luck to you in all your adventures! Got any cold weather gear to get rid of?
