  1. The Bearcat is sweet, light and probably hold value better than the Single-Six...both are nice, do it right , get one of each!
  2. I put in for it at 62- at the time I was concerned Obama was going to put the screw to it if I waited longer. I'm still glad I did it this way.

  4. Marlin has a whole lot of different models- time proven...I like the looks of the laminated stock ones with SS metal. Plus , you can always go on Guns international, lots of guns for sale there.
  5. Wow! That's a nice one hanging outside! Rugged, tough rack! Nice!
  6. I think these are the girls that go with the bow...maybe???
  7. for that price it better come with deer removal from woods, field dressing, butchering and dancing girls applauding the good hunt!
  8. Where can you find the hunter's story of the hunt? Would be good reading. All I can find is the info about it being a WR. The guy must have posted the story somewhere. Thanks if you have the go-to page.
  9. Really , Really impressive!
  10. Thanks for all the replies and advice...the vehicle I was looking at is a 2013 Yukon, 61,000K on it, beautiful and fully loaded for 23K. After seeing all your reviews I may just keep my Pathfinder a while, it's running good, besides probably passed the point of a good trade-in price. I might just save up the coins a bit and look into a 4 runner or Pilot in a newer model. The Yukon may be a bit too much vehicle for what I need-just back and forth to work.
  11. I'm in the market for a used SUV with about 60K miles, that is super dependable and should get well over 200k miles on it. I'm going to look at a Yukon today with 61k on it. What vehicle would you choose? I currently have a 2011 pathfinder with 115K on it. I don't need it for hauling anything---maybe a 26 pointer like the guys on youtube, if I get lucky one day.lol
  12. Full color remastered HD, was the only way I could get it on youtube full movie...true, B & W is the best, but this is pretty good!
  13. Can't find anything good to do ? Hitch up a chair and watch one of the best movies of all times, with the best actors also. Take you back to another place and time ! God bless everyone this Christmas!
  14. I have the 28"Ariens and have a pretty long driveway. It's the best! Goes thru a foot of snow like nothing.
  15. My wife and I make lasagna and we have shrimp, chicken franchez, eggplant, and my cousin brings homemade cheesecake. Wishing all a Merry Christmas...for many of us it's a time to reflect on our blessings and our loved ones that have passed on. God bless everyone!
  16. Thankful for the time out in woods, but as far as deer sightings-waaay down due to flooding of my main areas for hunting. Got a spike with shotgun around Thanksgiving---all combined seasons probably saw less than 20 deer. High stream water maybe part of problem, also next to no shots heard by other hunters- so no pushing the deer around. So, all in all, thankful I got what I got.
  17. Check out Guns International- lots of guns for sale...Might want to consider Browning Lever Action (BLR) . They have always been very nice quality- a good variety of calibers are available on this site.
  18. Coppola's has great food, plus the manager is a fantastic deer hunter. That's in Hyde Park. Cosimos by Marist college has great food also.
  19. Best wishes on your new home ! God bless!
