Weird, couldn't get rid of the qoute. So i will risk posting my dinner that consistet of quite a bit of greens, with fennel.and roast beets and mint leaves topped with homemade gravadlax with mustard dill sauce. The drink is a jalapeno margherita with a touch of mescal. We have a friend visiting,so i went all out on dinner tonight.

Tow ropes.work best when you actually tie your bow to them. Last year i went up a tree with my climber, and realized after i got all set that i didn't tie the damn bow on. Luckily I had an extra screw in hook for my gear and managed to fish for the bow..

thanks for the input folks,i will keep you posted with my progress or degress. I might just bump the sight pin down a tad, since the arrows are consistently hitting 3-4" low. Would be nice if i didnt have to resort to that. But i have realized by now that things are not always perfect, haha.

tiller? Maybe i shouldn't be messing with this stuff. And i tried to adjust my WB,but it just goes side to side, unless i can maybe get a shim in there. The arrow is almost 90° to the string, just a tad higher at nock point than the rest. The WB hole is oval from wear,i shot well over a thousand arrows through it. I think i might try to take it to the shop, maybe i need a new rest. This is a low end bow as well,i bought the bear cruzer combo, super adjustable for draw length and #. My starter bow,and i dont want to put much $ into it. I would like to buy a nice used one for next year. Weird thing is that i had different arrows before and they placed great ,even though the bow was not tuned well.

This tuning stuff is beyond me. i moved the d loop down and the arrow path turned wonky. i moved it quite a bit,and it was bad. then i kept moving it back up in increments and the best result i can get is 3" down for the BH below the FP. Would turning the poundage on just the top arm up a little do anything?

my father in law installed a board with nails sticking up buried in the backyard after his uninhabited house got robbed. Wouldn't you know there was a truck with four flat tires in the ditch down the road not very long after. Someone coming back for leftovers...

also very nice!!!

I had one in my house a few years back. All of a sudden the cats and dog went on high alert,so we investigated. Flying squirrel,we managed to get it into our living room and closed the doors to keep the dog and cats out. Now we were chasing it,but i didnt really wanted to grab it. It was pretty neat,he/she climbed up the window casing and sat on the top. When i got too close he launched and sailed across the room. How cool was that?!. Eventually i got a basket over him and threw him out. He hid between some books before that, and i was amazed at how flat they can make themselves. Two nights later he was back, and we repeated the procedure. He was a lot less shy the 2nd time around.

Ok folks, time to drool. Venison burgers, homemade venison apple sausage and the veggie is zucchini, and organic fingerling potatoes. Yuuuum

i have not put my cams out so far. Put some batteries in them two days ago. I seem to have a hard time meeting up with the bucks on my cams in the daytime though. I have been practicing my shooting and am feeling pretty confident there,so i will just let the season come to me. I still need to put a good backpack frame on my summit climber , otherwise the thing is miserable to carry..

Oh man,you dont know how familiar that looks to me. I heat my house with wood only. The beers after splitting a bunch of firewood taste the best.

Thanks,i used a square to try to align it. Hard to get a real good reading, but i will lower it a little more...

Just shot my broadheads today, fixed blade. They hit about 4" below the fieldpoints. I have a whisker biscuit rest that doesnt adjust up or down. Do i have to bring my d-loop up or down to correct this? I think down, but not sure. Thanks
-
Yes master, next time i will pull my other arrows.

You are so right about those swirling winds. I am trying to figure that out on the property i hunt, and it has all those features. It is not easy, and i dont feel good when the wind comes from behind me for a minute and then is in my face for 2. A little luck might help.
-
Well, the right has it in the name, always right, right?
-
My first four from the stand at 31 yds. I like their placement for the angle, double lung shots for sure. Going to try the broadheads next...

i could point you to some state land near me,not far from Oneonta. Hardly anyone bowhunts it,and during gun season the first weekend is nuts, then the numbers of hunters drop dramatically.
-
But it wasn't ready then...still needs the chimney finished. Too bad i actually have to work for other people,i could get a lot more done around my place if i stayed home.
-
I so was waiting for that, now i don't have to mention it.

shoulders are about the most complex joint we have in our bodies. Wishing you well with yours, everyone is different. I hurt mine a few years ago not shooting at a deer, letting the arrow back down. I did no lasting damage, but the two weeks to get it back to normal were rough.
-
dont buy it,i did and it sucks. After maybe 100 to 200 arrows ut disintegrates, piece of crap. Spend another 60 or 80 on a rhinehart or mckenzie

This seems almost pedestrian for this thread, but i love it,my go to beer.

ok,this is an invite to all. I build a masonry heater in my house this year, still have to finish the chimney, but it has is a wood fired heater and doubles as a bake oven. I will work out the kinks and then blow everyones mind with wood fired pizza. I am in the Cooperstown area... Just before gun season maybe?
