    Saturday and Sunday for me, as work gets in the way of the openers that fall during the week.

    I've only shot one bird in my not-much-of-a-turkey-hunter career. His name was Jake. If I have a chance at another similar named bird, I'm going to blow his gobblin head off. And my grandson's name is Jake, so I've got that going for me. That's my plan, and I'm sticking to it.

    I’d love to see the situation develop into that, but too early to tell. Hoping he has a great sophomore year with all of the new talent they added. This is a very important year for him. I like the kid!

    Bills picks seem legit so far. They got their guy last night without moving up, and Cody Ford looks like a great pick although I’ll have to read up on him. Always renew my Bills optimism in late April!

    Agree with the situational awareness. I’ve never had an incident of violence of any kind but in a restaurant I’ll sit facing the door, end of the row in a movie theater or sports arena, edge of a crowd instead of in a crowd, always scope out where the exits are, that kind of thing. I used to think i might be a bit paranoid but it seems prudent these days. I never wear headphones. Although I admit to maybe one earbud on very low volume in the tree stand to check in the Bills games on autumn afternoons!

    Saw them at Rich Stadium. Pretty sure it was in '82. I remember when they played Love, reign o'er me and it started to lightly rain halfway through the song. Memorable moment.

    Not worth the investment any longer, NY is a lost cause. We will never get right leaning leaders again, and if we do, it'll be a RINO. If you figure that you get a good twenty years of living after retirement, the difference in property taxes alone between NY and say, TN, VA, NC is about $250k during that time period (at least for me it is - it may be more or less for your individual situation). I look at the fact that I would be leaving and not letting the NY Liberals get my retirement $$ to fund their pipe dreams of socialism.

    Daughter, son in law, and grandkids came over for Easter. The g-kids wanted to ride quads, so we pulled a few cards along the way.
