  1. Yeah, I don't think this "proves" anything and I'm not sure rational folks are saying it "proves" anything but it is a symbol used by the Nazis in modern times, and that stage look just like it. It's just not a good optic. I presume you can agree with that.
  2. Haha - didn't see that, thought you were talking about Black Label Society.
  3. I would hate to be young, single, and looking for a girl these days. My god, anything can offend people.
  4. Haha - I can do 200 push-ups- in a weeks time! I think that works out to about 2/hr. It's gonna be rough, but I should be able to power through it!
  5. I hate wearing the mask and I hate the idea of having to wear the mask. However, I gotta say, I haven't had so much as a cold since this thing started. I always get a cold or two a year, usually in the spring and again in the fall. No colds in the spring or fall of 2020, and no cold so far yet this year. If I go the rest of this year without one, I think it'll be the longest stretch in my life. Can't be a coincidence, right?
  6. Good to see you here Wooly! That carving looks fantastic!
  7. Well now you're just making things up. I'm assuming you are referring to Marjorie Greene? So some crackpot who got elected to congress as a republican (in the same election that Trump lost) is automatically the voice of Trump? Nice try, but no.
  8. I think most here would disagree that Biden/Harris is the lesser of two evils.
  9. Yup, that's my fear, the devil you know. Although the safe act was bad enough, he hasn't really done anything since then. I am concerned that whomever would take his place would do something against guns quickly just to curry favor with their base. It's probably a pipe dream to think a republican could eventually win the governorship.
  10. Congratulations for your new addition to the family!
  11. Haha - for a while there I thought I might be as well. She's been working from home since last year, and seeing how I'm not home for a couple of hours after she gets done, she's been cooking amazing meals. I told her I consider the bar steeply raised for me when we switch places.
  12. I believe you, but my experience differs.
  13. M1 displaces moisture though, it doesn't remove it or prevent it. You can actually lock in moisture with it. Maybe not the surface that's treated, but inner parts of an assembly that are under the surface.
  14. When I was a machinist, I made the mistake of lining my toolboxes with carpeting. Bad mistake, carpeting holds moisture, rubber doesn't. On the Monday after the first humid weekend I was developing rust on many $$ worth of expensive tools. And that was in an air conditioned building. Probably not an issue if you have a goldenrod or some other drying device, but I thought I'd mention it. I use a knockoff of a goldenrod in my safe.
  15. Welcome to the board and welcome back to NY!
  16. Hmmm, I have the same EEE issue. Might try those.
  17. That's awesome - I'd donate to that!
  18. Good advice! Luckily my wife is working two more years and health coverage is through her job. When she retires we'll both be 65 and obviously will switch to medicare. I plan on being a good house husband and having all the housework and cooking done so she can relax and we can get back to doing fun things on the weekend. I have to say it's a daunting thing to flip the switch off on a good paycheck!
  19. Looks good Red, I like the pattern choice!
