Believe it or not, we have electricity but no running water. Back in the 60's, REA ran a power line (easement) right by the cabin (within 100 yards) to get across the hill. My Dad worked out a deal to get a pole and box put outside then we did the rest. Up until then is was all gas lanterns.

Needed something for the hunting cabin. We haul in drinking water, but hot showers are a rarity. NO MORE. I found a unit called the Big Kahuna. It comes in three sizes and includes a very good submersible pump. A heater unit is optional. I got the 13 gal size with the heater. The heater runs off 110v. but the pump is 12v. Plug it in to heat the water then unhook the heater and hook-up the pump to a 12v. supply (even works off a vehicle cig lighter type plug-in). It works great with AMPLE pressure and longevity. This thing really is the "bugs nuts"!!! Highly recommended.

We have a Bass Pro nearby in Orlando. I go there on occasion, but it's mostly filled with cheap Chinese / Vietnamese junk or over priced name brand stuff. However, they do have some decent sales sometimes.

As luck would have it, I just bought a new 2017 Chevy. It's a little "different" as it's a regular cab, short bed... not common and hard to find! I had been looking for quite some time. It doesn't have much fancy stuff, but had exactly what I was looking for. It has the 5.3 L V-8, 3.42 rear axle, tow package, rear view camera and spray-in bedliner. I just installed WeatherTech mats, a Diamondback HD cover, had the windows tinted and put on a couple of nerf bars to help my wife step in (she's only 5'2" LOL). The color is graphite metallic and looks pretty nice. I've already received many compliments. I'll try and get a couple of pics up in a day or two.

Millennium makes fine stands... albeit a bit pricey. That does look interesting. However, being an old fart, I'll be sticking to ladder stands from now on.
