  1. Welcome aboard. There's a lot more hunters in the city than one might think. We're just all under cover. Been working with someone for over a year now and never knew we both hunted. I mentioned it once to the one of the security guards and he mentioned it to him once as well. The security guard was like "you should talk to this person...he hunts too."
  2. In Yankee stadium you can bunt a home run down the right field line. Yanks lead the majors in HR while A's are 3rd. I expect a lot of HRs in that matchup.
  3. Lee takes up like 90% of the box. He shows up twice. But hey, it's 2018 and we're all about diversity. What ever floats your boat.
  4. I'd say 1. Remington 700 because I put some work into it and fine tuned it to be a tack driver. 2. Ruger 10/22 because I've replaced so many parts on it as well so now it looks nothing like its original form. 3. Henry Frontier. But honestly, they're tools to me. Maybe other than my Remington being my 1st rifle, if I buy another one I like better, these will easily be replaced.
  5. Black bear I wouldn't worry about. Brown bear is another story. Crazy this 77 year old hunter survived this attack.
  6. Sorry to hear. Growing up in NYC, I never leave anything of value visible. If I leave something in the trunk, I'll throw garbage bags and stuff on tops of it so it can't be seen.
  7. I'm not going to comment on this particular case as I haven't really been following it. But in general, this can happen. Especially for women. As men, it's hard for us to comment. Our society holds us to a double standard. If your adult son goes out with a bunch of hot girls, you probably high five him. If your adult daughter is bring home a new guy every couple of homes, you'll have a different reaction. Back in the 80's and 90's, a female rape victim would probably be labeled a whore, etc. Many rape victims are too ashamed to tell anyone that is why they keep it to themselves. They hide it and try to erase it from their memories. Avoiding the culprit and going on with the rest of their lives. What happens then is that 30 years later, they turn on the TV and the culprit is now on the news, and all the anger comes rushing back. Only this time, now that they themselves are older and more understanding of rape victims, they're brave enough to come forth. My wife volunteered for DOVE for almost a decade. Her role was to talk to these victims of rape or domestic violence at the hospital and try to convince them to do the right thing. The police are not allowed to talk to these girls before she does. She tells me stories of how these girls look. Like they've been pummeled by Mike Tyson for 20 minutes straight. Less than 10% of the girls she talks to eventually decide to report the rape.
  8. Close? I don't think it's even going to happen. Might have to sit out the 2nd year in a row. Bow and rifle hasn't even left the case/safe in almost 2 years. First son was easy. Throw him in a playpen and he was good. This second one needs you attention every single second or he's screaming murder. Draining the very life out of the wife and I.
  9. Sorry to hear. My condolences.
  10. The Penn State Sandusky case was similar too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It does happen in the real world. I have experience in it. Many young boys keep it in until upwards of 30 years later when they're in the 40's and 50's. Working in IT, I had to confiscate data pertaining to these things once. Funny thing is when it's a male who is the victim, not as much noise is made about them not reporting it until 30 years later.
  12. Sucks bro. best of luck to you. A friend of mine dislocated his in softball. He couldn't throw again for 2-3 years. Never go his arm strength back to the way it use to be. Not going to throw lasers from 3B but now he can still do pretty much anything he use to do.
  13. I have one in the oven. I find that when I place it on the bottom closest to the heat it burns the crust. When I keep it off the bottom it turns out great.
  14. It replaces my Mavic Pro which I crashed in Spain. Could have used your flying skills. Tried to fly it through a bridge and ravine, turned around in the shadows and didn't realize how close I was, backed it into the side of the cliff. The 2 Pro has rear sensors. Could have totally used that in Spain. It's like DJI heard what happened to me and said "okay, engineers...we know what we need to do."
  15. Free time? What's that? Bought the Mavic 2 Pro right when it was announced over a month ago. It's still in the box waiting for a free day when I can fly it.
  16. I never count you out Eddie. I'll look forward to your post here for years to come.
  17. I'd imagine it'll be spraying well before you reached the pond.
  18. Damn, Biz. Looks like your team slept on my Mets.
