  1. The only things they left out that were on that list were the DNA on the car and the people on the jury with relatives in the Sheriffs department. The rest was in there. I dont know all the facts surrounding the case, but from what I saw in the documentary, there was enough to make it reek of the county doing anything it could to get retribution against the guy for the lawsuit and embarrassment of their sloppy work being brought to public light. It was an interesting show to watch in any case. Granted, the guy was no saint, but just making some mistakes and being kind of an a-hole doesnt mean you deserve to be convicted of a crime you didnt commit. If the allegations from his ex were true, it wouldnt be hard for her to prove via police reports, and threats from a phone call from jail would have been recorded. Im sure those will come out if they are in fact true.
  2. Id rather see people be allowed to hunt them, but I guess I missed the part that said the deer would be left to rot and the meat not used in any way other than to feed the local scavengers (dead deer dont really go to waste if not eaten by humans).
  3. I see, so because someone travels and spends some money on a hunt, makes it ok to poach because its the only chance to kill the game that they have. Gotcha.
  4. Fox Tracer youth helmet size medium. In great shape $50 plus shipping
  5. Im gonna have to try the higher end Muddy at that price. Covert brought an App out to remotely control their cell cams. Seems like it might be pretty cool.
  6. I wonder if that Muddy Pro-Cam 12 is going to have the limited video length like my Browning does. Looks just like my cam, as far as controls, etc and the case is similar, just a molded bracket on the back VS metal. Ill be interested to see what they cost. The new case that Covert has is nice looking, but I wonder why they didnt break their flash array up. Ive noticed deer do not see their reflections in the array of my Browning like they do on my Coverts.
  7. Fishing... Hunting... I have a ton of great pics from this past season
  8. To tell someone they are wasting time and effort to do what they would like to do, just because its not the way you choose to do things is kinda pompus, dont you think?
  9. I used to have a Sig P238 that was awesome to carry. I just never liked the idea of carrying a 380, so I off loaded it. Great gun though, shot alot better than the LCPs Ive tried IMO. The Springfield XDS45 is a great year round piece, and if you want to, you can get the XDS9 instead.
  10. Sorry, but I have to call it like it is. At first you are talking about distances of 120 yards, then you offer up 2 deer that you shot at half that range as proof of consistent accuracy? I dont think anyone is questioning the ability to be reasonably accurate at short distances with a smooth bore.
  11. Looks good! I cant wait to get all of mine started pretty soon.
  12. Email them, thats how Ive always contacted them and gotten a response within a matter of hours. Any issue Ive had, they send me brand new cams.
  13. The 2015 Strike Force is a split case, with only the lower half of the front panel opening. Also that pic shows a black flash lens, the Strike Force is not black flash. That pic is the RangeOps model or some other older one. http://browningtrailcameras.com/our-products/trail-cameras/strike-force/
  14. I dont hunt them consistently enough to call myself consistent at killing them lol.
  15. Ive had WildGame, WildView, Stealth, Moultrie, Covert and Browning cams. I wont buy Wildview, WGI or Stealth cams again. I had pretty good luck with my Moultries. I love my Coverts, and my Browning I am overall pretty happy with so far.
  16. Why wouldnt you buy Coverts? Just curious. I have some of them and love them. Their customer service is top notch, never had an issue with one that they didnt take care of right away.
  17. I did, its based on knowing the buck, trail cam photos, etc.
  18. The problem is, they learn really fast, and do a great job at avoiding calls, etc that dont sound quite right. If you are hitting up the same areas weekend after weekend, you will burn your areas out quick. If you want a full season of productive hunting, you need lots of places to go to and be very careful not to overhunt the spots so you can avoid being patterned. Like chisw said, coyotes make deer look very dumb.
  19. Ive killed them at night and during the day calling. Not yet baiting. All have been on e-callers at night and an e-caller/decoy combo during the day.
