Like I said, nobody called crossbows a "piece of crap", and my opinion on why so many archers are using crossbows in OH and other places, well, maybe because they enjoy using them? Why do you use the hunting implements you choose to? Personally, Im not going to rush out and buy a crossbow, but eventually, Ill have one. I like to mix it up and hunt with different weapons during the season. I run the full gamete during gun season, shotgun, rifle (if Im in the right area), handgun and ML. Ill do the same once crossbows are legal in bow season. BTW, the term vertical bow refers to compounds, recurves and longbows. Crossbows are just another form of bow, so to easily distinguish between the different styles of bow,people started using the term vertical bow to refer to something other than a crossbow. Its easier than listing them all at once.

I hang mine by the rear legs. Have done it by the neck a time or two when I didnt have any sort of gambrel to use, didnt make any difference in taste or anything like that.

Its a joke, IMO. Even up here, we can only use shotgun for deer, but I can go out at night, in the dark and blast a yote, coon or fox with a 30-06 if I want to. I can also hunt deer with a handgun chambered in any caliber. Makes no sense to me.

Oh you should be fine then. I got mine on Black Friday a couple of years ago for like $30 or some stupid low price like that at Gander Mountain.

Same thing I did. I have 2 cards for each cam. The viewer would come in handy so I can see if the area has been active and if I want to move the cam or not.

Ill help Culver keep an eye on it too.

Ive thought about picking one of those up. Its too bad they dont make an SD card reader that could plug into the mini-USB port on a smart phone.

Thats the same grinder I have, only mine is rebranded as the "Guide Gear" brand. Works great for me just doing a deer here and a deer there. Youre gonna have problems trying to do too much at once though. Oh, one other thing, if you want to stuff sausages, etc, get an actual stuffer. The grinder does ok, but leaves alot of meat in the auger. Im probably going to keep mine for another year or so, but will be upgrading to a larger one eventually.

I havent heard anyone say that they are "pieces of crap". See, that is the typical side step that the anti-crossbow guys take when valid points are brought up.

I dont know, I like to drive around and spotlight once in a while. I spot posted property all the time and have never poached. If you know the guys that do it, turn them in, and dont just call DEC, call the state troopers, etc.
