Little windy. But we're dealing with it. No matter where you sit, the smoke is in your face.

I don't know why, but I cannot visit my mom and dad's(WWII purple hart) resting place. I just don't want there resting place to be my final memory of them. Yes I was present when laid to rest, but I honestly can't remember what the site looks like. I think I blocked it from my memory. Astonishingly how different some grieve.

Thanks for posting. One of the greatest I'll be playing this at a gathering tomorrow.

Thank you to all our heroes past present and future. GOD BLESS THE USA.

Aaron and I went to the same spot were he taged his first bird. At 4:55 he gobbled about 100 yrds out. Seen him pitch down. Gobbled at every call, but headed away from the fields following a ridge just out of site. Had a Jake poke his head up to look, but he was at 50+ yrds. Spot #2 we didn't see or hear anything except a couple deer. Spot #3 we bumped a tom before we got set up. On the way out we seen 4 hens and a tom in the same field we were first set up on. Watch them to see where they were heading, and got set up. I did some light calling, and about 45 min later a hen started yelping after my last clucks and purrs. Unfortunately, she knew exactly where we were, and walked right to us. She seen something she didn't like, and walked over the hill putting constantly. Had a great day, just couldn't get the birds to read the last chapter of the rule book.

I run 92 octane ethanol free in all my handhelds. In a pinch, I've run 87 and I can definitely tell the difference.

The older Stihl and echo are NOT the same as those sold today. Carbs are not serviceable. I've got a old Stihl combo with a hedge trimmer head on it. Hasn't been run in 15+ yrs. Diagram was still good and cleaned the jets. Runs like new. Redmax high end has serviceable cards(at least they did a couple yrs ago) Stihl doesn't. If it's running like shit, the only option is a new carb that cost 1/2 of the original cost of the trimmer, if not more. I'm horrible at winterizing my handhelds. The only ones that start every spring with old gas are my redmax. Going on 4 yrs on redmax trimmers ( one where the spark plugs wire is covered, and one that's not). Keep getting bit by the one that's not covered. Newer Stihl won't run, and need new carbs. My old as hell Stihl combi is Stihl running tho.

I've run redmax for the past 10 yrs for my landscaping busines, with a couple Stihl mixed in. Get a yr or two out of a Stihl, while the redmax keeps going.

I did the same thing going into Massachusetts long ago. I was a few miles in, before I realized. Stopped really quick and stuck the guns behind the seat. -

Those that are against doing, going or anything social, when do you start being social again? When Andy says it's ok? Are you going to wait for a vaccine? Don't count on that. There has never been one created for any covid virus in the past. So do we just sit back and and wait? -

Ya, used to see deer strapped to the hood or trunk of a car, or tailgate open. No more. -

Definitely can't say I've seen a rear window gun rack in a long time. I remember trucks with them in the school parking lot. -
They are neat critters. Nice pics.

Happy birthday..

No, it's retarded not to. People are loosing there cars, homes. Business are closing up permanently. People should be able to make their own decisions on working or going into those places that choose to open. It's crazy people are told they can't open there business, can't make money to pay the bills or put food on the table. -

So someone not wearing a mask is a idiot? If so, call me a idiot. Haven't worn one yet, and I won't. I go in every store I need to. I stay 6' from everyone, and they stay away from me. Haven't gotten sick yet, don't plan to. -

Very nice. Congrats on the first turkey. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Haven't seen a fawn yet, but been noticing some very skinny does in the fields during the day.

That's the issue with a PTO post hole digger. Every softball or larger rock or root will cause issues. I just did 14 holes for a garden fence. I figured the area "might" be ok because of the close proximity to the house. 8 holes had to be hand dug. What a pita. I would love to have a bucket loader mounted post hole auger. You've now have down pressure and reverse if you get jammed up. However, they are $1500 +, and if you don't have the 3rd remotes factory installed on the tractor, add another $1000.
-
I'd live in that during deer season, lol

40 is definitely pushing it. Lots of voids.

Wow, you must be in that bobcats core area. The turkey gobbling is priceless.

Invisible fencing is no guarantee. My Shepard mix was so gentle. However a chipmunk was her nemesis. She would bolt through the underground fence, get zapped and yelp, just to get to that damm chipmunk. Dogs learn they will get a quick zap, then there free. But I agree, it's not a excuse. People still have to keep there pets under control.

I believe your legal to shoot. However the issue is going to be discharging a firearm on a public street and endangering others.
