nice! I was planning on wearing a thin thermo layer under it. Mine has two back heaters and one front - was wondering how long it would last with all of them on. Thats good to hear, looking forward to trying it. If i wear my one piece underbunks and then camo coveralls over it should help keep my toasty. thanks Older i get the less i like the cold.

GF got me a heated vest. Runs on a fancy rechargeable battery that you would use as a phone backup etc. Anyone use these and howd they work out? I tried it on and am thinking those cold days in gun and muzzle its gonna be a definite help. She had gotten me one that was size 2Xl and i couldnt even get it on to try it on. So thought maybe it would fit my buddy and he tried it and it barely fit and he is a lot smaller than me. Looked up reviews on it and comments were "fits great a little tight- I ordered the 2xl" - (5'11, weighs 143 lbs.) lol there were a bunch like that. So sent it back and tried another and i can get that one on but certainly nothing but a t shirt under it. They def dont make them in the US. a 2xl here is often very big on me. But seems like it might be a help, no idea how long the batteries last .....

i saw a bag of whiting in walmart before in the frozen section. Made me laugh when i said hey i caught those! The squirrelfish were cool looking. I went out on a charter boat for grouper while i was there and we were using them for bait. Caught 100 times more fish from shore than on the charter - we got one small grouper and a couple of small flounder. heres a squirrel fish -

Last time I was in Florida caught a ton of whiting of the beach. Didn't know they were whiting til afterwords and found out they wrote good to eat Had a blast though. We were using bait shrimp. Went to some other spots and some piers and had to ask what I just caught all the time. No clue what most of them were. I did know what snook looked like and sea trout. But squirrel fish etc....had to keep asking people nearby. What's this? Lol

if your coming in from the left (assuming thats west) i like your top stand pick in the orange but only on some sort of East prevailing wind.

where are you coming into it from? I like the top point where you blue line trail is on a W or SW wind. That way you stay out of the bedding area and would be right on that trail and your wind isnt a factor. If your gonna hunt that orange square area would have to be on an E or NE or SE wind .

Heres a dump on my parade. Stopped at lowes cause i needed a couple of things to do a few pots of tomatoes and some green onions this year. Get that and watch the news at noon and forecast is for 6-10 inches of snow on Thursday! Eff that!
