  1. Eagerly awaiting the start of the 2020 Maple Season. The maple bug grows each year from within. The sweet smell of maple steam is nearing. Getting ready for another great ride, LOL.
  2. The white nostrils give the look of a heavy breathing deer. I have seen this effect on living deer close up with theirs tongues hanging out of their months with druel, after miles of doe chasing. I would leave it as be.
  3. I have to ask why the nostrils are so white. Was that the way you you found him
  4. But, their's to of ya, so your paying half price, LOL.
  5. Did you get your mount back? Pic.? What time frame?
  6. Wheat by far, is my only choice. Feeds the herd in the fall to early winter; then feeds them again in early Spring. Then continues to feed all types of wildlife when grain fills and dries down. Turkeys come in and can reach the shorter growing straw better. Common cover crop wheat is cheaper in price and does better on my soils than rye. Hands down my choice for deer, turkey, and other wildlife choices. I frost seed in late Winter with a good Mammoth red clover and create a perfect deer magnet.
  7. No disappointments here. Always think of it as a new adventure. Great to be out ; what ever Monther Nature throws my way, makes me feel really good. Be proud of your accomplishments no matter how small they may be !
  8. On a really cool note to start the thread; I used a shed , that was picked up in 2013 to age a buck harvested this year. Age 7+ years old. Thanks Wooly!
  9. I'll be out shed hunting, next fair weather day we get. Always seem to find some from years prior.
  10. Are they actually called Mickey Mouse boots?
  11. Keep it to myself. They will see it hanging, LOL.
  12. A value minded customer. How long will these usually last for you? I ask, only because my feet are tired of being ripped off.
  13. Ten more days of muzzleloader season to go. Hope to add 50 more hours.
  14. Windy with grapple coming down and 7 am.. Changed to freezing rain by 8. Came in bound at 10. My orange outer garments were solid ice. Fire arm icle. Great day to be out!
  15. I'm going to do some research on the Muck Boot sellout before I send a dime towards DryShod boots.
  16. Gone through 4 pair of Muck Artic Sport boots in 5 years. Would send this last pair back; as the heel is seperating again; to L.L.Bean but, they discontinued the lift time warranty on the products they sell.
