Spot, I hunted a couple times with bow.. If one makes it to the Apple tree scrapes , he is going to be close for my rifle. -
What you guys think of this 3H 5/6 pointer
ncountry replied to burmjohn's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
Wow! He's a beast , for 5/6 point. Looks heavy. -
Awe come on..I always bring my protractor and compass with me..lol.. And contrary to what one would think ,one has to compensate shooting uphill the same as down....
-
And to think. I was ready to vote him off the island once ;.)

Yes, we were told once that we are to use a rope as guide, wink, wink, and to not be repelling.

Nice! We will not arrive in C cabins until next tues..I'm counting down the days...I love the river bottoms the best, but do not overlook the tops.. there are more deer than one would think in the narrow strip between Rd and private fields. The biggest buck shot by our group came fromy up top. Good luck!

Close encounters. I was surrounded by mom and her 2 little ones. This is a screen shot out of at least 5 minutes of video. This one was maybe 2' from my feet. The other one was behind me. No idea how close, I didn't dare look. But I could hearhim/her breathing. Lol They kept on looking at their back Trail, but nothing followed Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk -
Not sure if you are going to take another look. but, imo... I wouldn't waste much time in the field. I have found that unless they are on a death run ,heart, liver, they will be in cover or next to water.90% of the time. Good chance also that it turned and went back to where it came from. Either way.don't get too discouraged. Anybody that bow hunts long enough loses one.

I go for older bucks because.. 1. Most years..My season would be over too quickly otherwise 2. More exciting 3.I love antler soup.. 4. More challenging This has not always been my practice. I probably have shot over twenty 1 1/2 yo bucks. In the past that was challenging enough. There is even the occasion when all my reasons ,except for soup, are provided by a young buck towards the end of a trip or season.

Lol.. we are always picking on one of our buddies. He shot the smallest deer at 100+ yds with a shotgun. ,It weighed maybe 50#s. We tell him his accuracy is awesome sportsmanship not so good.. all in good natured ribbing..;). Just because I wait for a mature doe(most of the time), doesn't mean everyone has to..

If the spikes are less than 3" then you use antlerless tag. -

I think it is great that he gets booed everytime he walks out for a game. But , like one of my friends that just returned from overseas said. That is one of the reasons he fought for this country, so that we could be free. Free to make smart ... and stupid decisions along as its legal

Anybody see any deer today? I didn't see any from my stand, except for the 2 bucks my trail camera took a picture of and texted me..lol Small spike and a 4 point. -
Don't push it down! On the right side, part of the rest sticks down . Flick this part downward/forward and the rest will drop.. I push the lever with my thumb and let it slip off this does the trick.

I was taught most of my basic deer hunting and care habits by an old timer...We hang our deer for a week or 2 during the average November weather. As long as the night time Temps are in the 30-40* range they will carry through the occasional 50*+ days.. I have stuffed ice in and tied shut the body cavity for the warmer days..Amazingly enough there is usually always ice left , come time to dress them off. Not scientific, but I've never had a bad deer either

I sympathize.. My old 2002 duramax 2500 has 260000 Miles.had 180,000 when I bought it. I've changed the oil, bought tires, brakes, and brake lines..that's it.. She runs and drives down the rd like a new truck, but starting to look pretty rough..I have been keeping an eye out for a replacement too.

Sure.. what's this ? Football on a hunting forum..thanks now you ruined it. No sense watching it later...lol.. Love it anytime the Patriots get beat..

That's great. I was envisioning a little bigger project.. Move home, poor pad, reset home.. Seems like most manufactured home pad quotes were in the neighborhood of 10g with full foundations around 25..

If your code enforcer is doing his job he will require them to be certified.... you cannot modify or set up manufactured home without being certified these says...I would guess this is going to fall in that category.. I would start by calling companies on this list.... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.dos.ny.gov/DCEA/pdf/intcertlist022310.pdf&ved=0ahUKEwiknqn9t7XPAhUFeT4KHdsOCGoQFggbMAA&usg=AFQjCNFkhyWBhcvyqEUr_VhMLxG3TARLdQ&sig2=Cjh_ClazyEMdnYRFvwC3Ug Pretty sure I'm no longer on there. .lol.. Sight unseen....I'm guessing in the neighborhood of $25,000..
