Rage 100gr hypodermic.. I will have to say....I have been really liking them the last few years..
-
I think it is a grand idea... Within a city limits .... Notices can be posted .upon entering city limits your personal freedoms are partially revoked.. if this makes everybody living within feel better ..great.. I would personally choose not to have my rights or person violated.. but being that I don't live in or visit many cities, it won't be my problem... I would be absolutely livid if I was walking down the street in my local town and was stopped and frisked.. Never have anything to hide, but that's not really the point.

Cool! I had a honey hole where I shot a 2.5- 3.5 year old buck 4 out 6 years on Nov 10.. between 7:30-8:30 am. Was a great spot until everybody else discovered it... Lol. They would hunt it all season and it wasn't any good after that..
-
We are in Letchworth from the 8th until 22nd.. I wouldn't mind being there a week earlier.. activity seems to be the best from the 5-12 Nov... Every year it seems to be really hot the 1st week and then slowly tapering off. I cannot hardly wait..: )

I have a pair of Cabela's boots I bought 6 years ago . I still am wearing them all hunting season and over 1/2 the year for work. A typical 150-200$ boot lasts me 1-2 years tops.... They probably are the longest lasting pair of all leather boots I have worn. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Gram-All-Leather-Iron-Ridge-Hunting-Boots/748572.uts?productVariantId=1728355&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=80073342&rid=20&gclid=Cj0KEQjwouW9BRCN0ozIifTI6_cBEiQAD9gNse-g0vt7NcpD9g-k_uXgsHoMcvZEWrp5WmoCRuGGlE8aAvQC8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

Tree stand harness...what's everyone wearing?
ncountry replied to mlammerhirt's topic in Bow Hunting
Maybe a stupid question. Where do you hook the safety rope? I like the looks of that one. -
I try to sit all day . Usually I'm only successful a few times a year.. and they always involve a few naps..lol.. I figure even if I'm sleeping at least when I wake up in in my stand and I didn't disturb anything coming or going.. except for the snoring..

We have at least one piece of state property with 100s of acres of crops grown on it .. part of a wetland preserve. Most of it huntable. Usually corn... It is typical public land though.(at least for this region) over hunted and poached..

As a general rule : run 3/4"" main lines and T off that with 1/2" lines. This way when one fixture, say a shower is running and someone flushes the toilet , there is enough flow through the 3/4" line to supply both without a pressure drop in the shower.
-
In my experience, you will never notice the difference. Except for maybe a large soaker tub valve, none of today's fixtures will allow more flow than what is available through the pex fitting. Just remember there is no place for a 1/2" T..
-
Yes, a ( 1/2" npt by 1/2" barbed pex fitting) will fit most hose bibs. FYI...A pro-pex fitting is not the same as a regular pex fitting that use crimp rings.
-
Pex for sure..highly recommend the one handed crimpers for ease of use and accessibility in tight spots.. Something like these.http://m.lowes.com/pd/Apollo-PEX-One-Hand-Cinch-Clamp-Tool/3396092 My only complaint with pex is that it is ugly compared to copper. Harder to keep everything straight ,plumb and level..lol

No, I don't think I can...lol... After some research, I think I am wrong.. there are a number of pieces up here that have been heavily logged in recent years, but they are either recent acquisitions or easements... This is one example of a state easement that is logged.... http://www.dec.ny.gov/lands/39883.html
-
Ha ha..not nice.. Been there, done that.. one of the hazards of a manufactured home..
-
Just wanted to clear this up.. there IS logging on state lands in the park.. It is different than hunting the isolated forest lands but recently logged areas are much easier to find the deer in..

NY Moose Hunting Bill
ncountry replied to BKhunter's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
A guy hit one, right in front of my house 10 years ago,or so. Totaled his new 3/4 ton pick-up . There is one spotted every year locally. We live 1/2 hour north of the ADK park. Would be great to eventually have season. -

One of My "Neighbors" Got Run Over by a Car Last night!

They seem to be making themselves at home here in the valley more and more.. there was just one in Waddington. One was spotted on or near school grounds in Canton today and they cancelled outdoor activities.. -
Great show! One of the the few that is better than the books.. It's one of those books that bounces all around following one character then another and by the time you make it back to the 1st you either forgot or really don't care.. lol. We don't get HBO, so we watch one season late..

Fish fry this weekend for sure... I like to have a couple fresh feeds and put 15#s or so in the freezer... yes I am always amazed at the # of bass and pike(some real nice ones too) that a person can actually boat with 4# test line ..lol. I try to take it away from them (1/2 the fish I catch I see 1st)before they bite when I see them , but it doesn't always work.

I Have had excellent luck with my 02 2500hd with the diesel. I bought it 6 years ago w/186 thousand miles , ~250,000 now. Zero problems and 18.5 mpg average..Luck of the draw or difference between 1/2 ton and 3/4?.. I'm not sure. I'm really liking the looks of the new canyon/colorado with the diesel.
