How about the "harvest thread" remain for Harvests, enough nonsense.

I agree and apologize for adding to the non sence. Lets get back to the harvests. I'll start with this buck that i mentioned yesterday. Shot by a guy that does some of my taxidermy work. Super nice guy and couldn't be happier for him. Buck was shot just outside Letchworth park. Congrats to Dan..

The only details I have on this buck was that it was taken in Middlesex, NY. My buddies uncle is the one who had the trail cam shot of the buck from behind his house. Unfortunately for him it was a hunter on the neighboring property who bagged this giant.

Not sure KEVA probably just a 1 1/2 year old but good have been a 2 1/2. He was a very big bodied deer that's for sure. I will leave that up to some of the others on here to decide that would probably know better. Here are some other pics of him

Arrowed this doe Saturday afternoon. This is from my backup spot back near my parents house. I know the deer come out from the thick like clockwork 4PM-dark everyday. Mostly Doe and Button Bucks, the occasional Buck will also appear so the gameplan was to harvest a doe and if a good buck showed that would be a bonus. Right on que 3 button bucks and 2 doe show up. I dropped her at 30 yds with a less then ideal spine shot (right above shoulder in pic). Second shot went through her heart ensuring the kill. I probably should have got down from my stand for the final kill shot but decided to let it fly luckily it met its mark.

After about 20 minutes 2 of the Button Bucks came back out to investigate. I was planning on staying in the stand since it was still early but the home owner off the field who I believe isn't a fan of hunting and likes to watch the deer decided to come out and look at his posted signs and walk out to field 30 yds from my stand which ended my day.

Ok so first... Don't hate on the gut job lol. We cut them down the ribs to drain better. And second... Don't hate on the shot. (lol again). 30 yard shot slipped in front of her shouler as she was quartering toward me. Hammered her with the Rage 2 blades, slung from the PSE Dream Season which opened her up damn good. Got lung and almost came out the other side mid way down her body. found 8 inches of my arrow broken off. She went 60 yards and fell down about 5 times before she piled up.

Hey Everyone! This is Louis Backlas/ Cross Over the River Outdoors. I just posted a new video to my YouTube channel that I though ya'll might get a kick out of! Have you ever used a decoy to hunt whitetails? If you haven't before you might want to start! I woke up one morning and look out my front window only  to find that my 3D deer target was in pieces all over the front lawn! A fired up buck decided to take his frustrations out on the target!  this took place sometime in November during the peek of the rut. Hope ya'll get a kick out of it!

      Hey All,
New to the forum, already missing the deer season and have curiosity to quell. This was a great non-typical I was chasing all season in a bow-only area of Ithaca. Anyone know or hear of a non-typical of this caliber being killed? I'll be out scouting for him aggressively soon enough. Thanks!
      Nick

Hello folks. I'm a novice hunter from almost Central NY. I live amongst the cow fields about 20 minutes south of the ADK park. I'm here hoping that I can learn from those who know more than I do. That's probably most of you. LOL. This is my second season and so far I still have all of my tags. I have a rifle but I'm not comfortable shooting it in the area I hunt due to people being near. I'm hoping to fill at least one of my tags before Dec 19.
