I'm seriuosly pissed...take the back roads home from store...well they're all back roads...... but driving past a farm and next thing I now there is a blk SUV right on my bumper...there actually a speed limit at the farm 45mph...all of a sudden he has red/wht/and blue strobe lights going across the top of the car...I pull over and he speeds by so fast I can't make out the wht official lettering on the vehicle....drives like a bat out of hell to intersection ...turns to go to town and 100ft in...he turns off the lights.....Really! he need to get past me that bad...couldn't handle 45mph?..what an abuse

good thing he did not stop behind me for I would have pulled away while calling 911 to make sure it was really a copand until I got to where ppl were...they don't usually drive blk vehicles with top lights around here

Something as unimportant as that pisses you off??? I will never understand why people let little thing get to them.. thats way more unnecessary stress than a person should put on themselves. The only person that gets bothered by getting pissed off that easily is the person that is pissed off... everyone else doesn't give it a second thought... especially the person you're pissed about...

Ya years back i got stopped on the thruway in corfu for speeding, he saw my Id so wrote me for seatbelt instead .Around here it would be have a nice day .

When we repound for shootings ect. we kill the lights and sirens as we aproach the sceen accept when we got folks in the way we hit them for a bit.

This is in the sticks ...really and I know all the police...State trooper..sheriffs vehicle....but you get the fire guys out driving...it actually isn't the first time it's happened...I darn near got clipped by a sheriff talking on his cell phnoe..no not radio...cell phone and he drifted into my lane

Better do the speed limit through corfu. unless you learn all their hiding places lol

I think they like to "hide" right in the gas station parking lot most of the time. That "no right on red" from 33 east to 77south is a bummer..........

And speeding......damn. Better really watch it.

He only got me one time, 10 years ago for not having my license plate attached to my ATV trailer. It had fallen off that day (held on with baler twine) and it was in the back of the trailer, not visable. I produced it for him but that wasn't good enough. Prick.

There are alot of emergency calls that you do not pull up to with lights and siren...bank alarms, robberies in progress, active shooters etc... doubt he was just trying to get around YOU.

X2- they will shut down the lights well before pulling up on certain calls of he may have been cancelled off of a call. (or that donut coupon was about to expire LOL just kidding)

there ya go...we're so far out the nearest DD is 20 some miles away ;) ...The rant had a bases...happened before...actually in same general area...do wish I'd gotten a good look at the lettering on the side of vehicle

NYA...your right ...and that is why I let it go by saying it out loud...Rant was actually a poor definition of my being ticked...it was more aggravated and as I said with a bases..

Now a Rant would have really occurred had he sped by with a deer hanging off the side of the SUV by it's neck...Oh boy THEN........ :P

Always have seen green around here....state troopers have some blk ...but grill lights not top lights..

The thing is...the road is fairly wide for a country road....and you can see a mile past the intersection...we were a half mile from that... there was just him and I on the road...all he had to do was pass me....hhhmmmI do have a political bumper sticker...

A simple phone call to the sheriff's office describing the vehicle to them may answer your questions. Could be legit or it could be some wannabe who drives a black car who bought a top light on the internet pretending to be a cop. BTW did you get a look at the driver? Was he/she wearing a uniform? Or were the windows tinted?

No Deerthug...I'd turned on to the road... and no one was behind me...then all of a sudden all I could see were his head lights...he was so close...he was there a minute or so then I saw the strobe lights...I pulled over and he just flew by...wht lettering is all I caught...we don't have a whole lot of shoulder on these roads before your in rather deep culvert ditches...

Yep that's right WNYBH...I see them on the expressway a lot...when driving down to see daughter...
