Thanks Eddie for the Happy Thanksgiving greeting. I hope everybody has a happy, relaxing, enjoyable Thanksgiving surrounded by friends and family. We will be having a jillion people in for a monsterous feast and a whole bunch of hunting talk. I know I will be eating everything in sight and regreting it afterward. We always have a huge assortment of pies that I try to cram in around all the other stuff that I have already over-eaten on. It happens every Thanksgiving .... I can't help myself!

Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone. Good old oven turkey. No turkey in the smoker this year. Last year of nearly falling out of the treestand with the smell of cooking turkey filling the air will be averted, LOL.

We have at least 20+ people at the house for Thanksgiving . It crowded and noisy but worth the trouble of having everyone together .

The Turkey my wife bought from an Organic Farm is too big for the oven . She found a website that has a video of how to cut off the legs , wings , skin the breast meat , and then wrap the skin over the breasts and tie it up like a roast .

I got smarter and used some discretion this year and didn't pig out . It worked I was only .2 of a pound more this am than yesterday am .

It really got quiet after everyone left .

My oldest son had brought some backstraps and venison "wassaburger" and grilled them for Horse Doovers ( hors d'oeuvres )...... DELICIOUS !!!!!

Cooked up a Tom I got in the spring, turned out good and freed up some room in the freezer.

Happy Thanks Giving to all. Went to my brother in-laws yesterday. First time I didn't do it here. Mistake. He tried to smoke the turkey out back. It was tougher than leather and tasted like lighter fluid!!!! DUMB ASS!!!

Got my own bird defrosting right now. At least he had more than enough beer to fill up on....Wife drove home.

Is Elmo sitting a little funny in that picture????
