13BVET
This is getting way out of hand. There is absolutely no question, at this point, that their whole intent is to disarm the people.
Early
No doubt the insurance industry is one of the biggest lobby group powers (aka "arm-twisters") here in NY....and in DC
nybuckboy
If I read this correct... if all you own is a shotgun or a 22 rifle, you will need this insurance?????? Really.

Insurance is a profit builder, and what better way to make money

Doc
It's getting so that you better have your State Senator and Assembly man on speed-dial. We can talk about it here on this forum, but the real people that need to hear our opinions are our representatives..... now!

boo711
I just talked with someone at assyman barclays office about this bill. Barclay is against it and put out a press release saying so. Guy also told me that it does not have any co sponsors from the assy or the senate. Which he said is good. No co sponsors is a good thing for this bill never getting passed. Said right now bill is in hands of insurance committee and has been since Jan 29. Said with no co sponsors it will probably stay there to. I am going to keep calling assyman to let them know this is not good!!

Guns&ReligionCop
Can you imagine the revenue just from law enforcement alone, because I don't see any law enforcement exception written in this bill. This is getting absurd
13BVET
Of course there's a law enforcement exception in this bill. Only the low life citizens, and the poor bastards returning from getting shot at overseas have to pay it. Here's the exception: 4. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL NOT APPLY TO ANY PEACE OFFICER 20 WHO IS AUTHORIZED TO CARRY A FIREARM.
