We had 9 meth labs busted here in Allegany County in 2012 , one just up the road from me, the young guys in prison now. The worst part he carries Felony charges the rest of his life. How stupid for a highly intelligent person.

I've found them before on public land.  If they're near where I want to set up, I just cut them down while I'm scouting.  If I ever found some on my land, I'd set up every camera I have in the area then call an ECO to have him look at the pics and press charges for trespassing and the illegal grow.

Found one actually a couple days ago while looking at a new area. It was snipped already. It's not my land so not my worries. I think some people are too sensitive to the subject. And the whole booby trap thing is only popularly used with the Mexican cartel in the US and their massive operations growing. I don't think the average teenager would set up traps to hurt someone to protect their pot plant. Just my .02

When I was shopping for a Lake Ontario parcel I ran into a few of these.  One 10acre lot had like 10 5 gallon buckets on a wagon.  Looks like it was a mobile operation.
