Great pics, Phade.  I have 6 different bucks on video on a about a 17 days soak.  At one point, two adult doe bedded down behind and IN the scrape!!  Mostly yearling bucks but one the has to be 2.5

So thats what an active scrape looks like , the ones we see are usually a one and done , we tried everything to keep them going and they just get covered with leaves and thats it.

I sat it this p.m. and had two bucks show up. Shooter commited but a swirl/thermal got the best of me at that moment. That one stung a bit.

 

These pics are all from one soak. 13 days. Theres another dozen bucks give or take. Just can't bother to post more, lol.

 

The pics are in order, so you can see the scrape grow.

Great pics. The one odd racked 7 point is neat looking buck. Be nice to give most of them another year or two. Good luck.

Swirling wind killed me this morning. Winded 3 times. Real tough spot to hunt as there is no safe wind zone. I pulled out and we are assessing a better strategy. Trust me, I wanted to freshen it up after getting busted. Watched 2 nice bucks spare for a while on the ridge nearby

We have seen 3 very good "shooters" there by most standards, but I like shooting spikes. Passing all the big boys and waiting for the little guys to show up. It's consistent with my trophy doe wall.

Looks like a great spot, good find. Good quality pictures, I will have to look hard at the Covert for my next camera. Hope you nail a big one there.
