Heavy Snow

Before going out to chickens i scan the field or the back 40 case there are any deer. There was a few coming out and didn't walk so far and went back. Then while walking i see another one heading to the field and headed back. Snow is so heavy i figure they aren't going to move too much today. My blind i am sure has collapsed.

My chicken fence is collapsing from the weight and had to also hit snow off some branches so they didn't break off. It is pretty.

Did you all get a lot of snow?

Solid 6" of heavy packy snow out there.

We got about 8 inches and is it ever HEAVY!

Sticks to everything including the shovel and I even sprayed that down with silicone.

I've had enough..... bring on springs sunny skies, blooming blossoms, and green grasses!

I hate snow and cold!

Grow -- We got the heavy wet crap here in Ontario . I used the snow blower and went slow . Got the top stuff but underneath it was slush and had to shovel that stuff . It was a good workout for this old guy and I worked up a pretty good sweat .

Any input as to what the snowfall has been / is in the Redfield, NY area?  Need to know if I should make a pit stop on the way to the 1000 Islands for Thanksgiving and take down a 10 x 20 Shelter for the wheelers.  Thanks in advance for any help!

Wow maybe a first you all got more there then we did in NH had about an inch overnight but was raining at 3:00AM most is gone now

about 4" in Northern Erie County.  Great snowman snow.  Kids are out romping around in it already.

 

I am pretty dissapointed considerign they were talking at LEAST 8".

About 6 inches here, heavy and slippery, cold wind out of the northwest , many years ago I liked weather like this now it SUCKS. I am with wooly bring on spring !

Down here in southern Steuben along the Pennsyltucky border, we got perhaps 2 inches of soggy wet stuff...

It was relatively easy to clean my sidewalks just pushing a shovel like a snow plow.

It's pretty heavy here, too. It's the kind that sticks to every tiny twig and makes a visual 'wall' in the woods around here (lots of beech brush).
