Lamb stew from scratch. I have some Hanger steak that is ready to cook after a 24 hour marinade. Sous vide or cast iron that is the question.

Late post. Sunday brunch at Xavier’s X2O in Yonkers. Food was so so but price and view was decent.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen in Daytona Beach. Chips and queso con carne for app (no pic) and meatloaf with gravy and cheddar broccoli casserole for dinner. Their decaf coffee was really good.

I splurged for a meal there once....only once....when they first opened. Not impressed. Only Peter Kelly meal I liked and felt was worth it was his Sunday brunch in Congers location.

I agree with that. Also the regular food at congers sucks I was there two months ago and was appalled how far it has fallen

You're paying $100 for a $50 experience.  Not worth it.  Plus I don't know if it was due to brunch but my wife's comment was "It looks like we got a training crew.  I've seen more spills in the last few minutes than I've seen this whole year."

A little monkey business in the morning at the Monkey Morning Cafe in Daytona Beach. Had the loaded omelette with sausage gravy. Very veteran friendly place with a lot of character. They had a vintage KISS lunchbox that looked cool.

Moma did well today.  Stir-fry made with sliced "big" button buck "hidden tenderloins" cooked medium rare.   Might be the tastiest oriental dish we have ever had.
