Just to give you all a heads up, we will have a deer contest this year. It will most likely be similar to how we do the Spring Turkey Classic, with a points system, etc. More details, prize lists, etc will be coming up soon.

It would be cool if you had a category for non-typicals maybe a simple vote for ugliest rack. I have some real uglies running around and could use a reason to remove them.

Interesting. I have been in team based deer contests on another forum in the past and it worked quite well. Teams were picked from the order they signed up on the entry page. Then each team had it's own thread. It was neat because we got to vote on team names & avatars. Some good clean trash talkin kept it pretty lively too!

Team based worked well for the first turkey contest. Then when they went to the single players, I believe that more liked it. Participation jumped dramatically.
