WTF!! License Issuing Problem

I bought my license yesterday on line, Hope it worked as I didn't get an email conformation either,and the new system was slow and confusing. I will wait the week or so and see what shows up.

It's almost like they are trying to screw things up this season. Can't believe no one had the sense to test the new paper. Got mine at Dick's on last years yellow. Be careful not to throw away this years tags thinking they are last years!ybe

New York has no money for testing.  All going into Cuomo New York revive, start  new business ads.

 

Why would they learn by previous software issues when this whole DECALS. system started?  We're talking about New York here now,  LOL

Nothing on my end yet! Did you guys know that backtag numbers stay the same forever with lifetimes?  I did not know this and trashed all mine cept last years. Will find out soon enough i guess. That is if this years ever shows up!!!  Anybody know if this the case?

Back tag numbers are always the same, lifetime or regular doesn't matter.

back tag number stays the same no matter how you get your license.  it was assigned when decals started.  I give them my drivers license and they look me up that way and my number stays the same.

I'm not sure we need to freak out in august. the season is still 40 days out. You will get your tags...

Some of people go out Sept 1st for squirrel so for us, the season is 11 days away.  Fortunately for me, I still have last years license so I can use that but those that don't are affected.

 

This is the last year you can use the previous years license.  In previous years, you can had to use the previous years license prior to Oct. 1st.  This year you can use either the previous years or the current years.  Starting next year, you must use that current year's license.  I they don't mess up again like this for next year.

As of this very minute only Dicks Saratoga, Walmart Latham, Clifton Park can produce licenses in the Albany area. And sick of waiting for someone in the Ghetto Walmart! WTF

Ummmmm why would you want your lic. on camo anyhow? I had just shot a doe a few yrs ago and took the tag out and fillled it in. I set the tag on the deer and turned to my butt pack to get my knife out. Turned around and the tag was gone. A gust of wind had  blown it off the deer. After 45 min of searching I finally found it 20 ft from the deer. Color of the tag was brown. you drop a camo one you will prolly never find it. I dont even touch my lic. now till Im ready to pull the deer back to the car. I wont unattach it from the rest of the tags till im loading deer in the car either. Id take yellow or orange any day over camo.

Check your tags. On the first set of tags I received at Dicks today the back tag was printed on three tag sections, the other tags were overprinting from one tag to another, and I had one spring turkey tag and none for fall. This after they told me that they weren't having any issues with the printing. The girl there had to reprint as a replacement set and they finally came out right.

I ordered mine online last week. Obviously they're mailing me mine but it didn't say whether my DMP's were approved or not like it does in the store when you get it. Am I just supposed to wait and see if they show up with my license and the rest of the tags?

If you did it online on the new DEC website where you choose the areas for the first and second choice it tells you right then if you will get it or not.

I am so glad I buy mine every year.  i was 10 minutes left with everything I asked for and all printed correctly as well.  Ain't technology grand.
