Place for cheap lifelines?

Yeah, don't get me started. Lifelines are worth it, I know. Problem is, for what they are made of, they are overpriced playing the hunter safety card. I don't have the time to make a few, but want to buy a couple for hang-on permanent sets this year.

Anyone got some info on good prices?

I know you're concern with time is a factor so hopefully you find them easy but...............

I bought marine line at a boat store more than a few years ago and made my own.  Easy as pie.......33' is IIRC what you want.  A couple wraps up high and enough to tie around the base of the tree once at about mid chest in hight.  The prussic is easy to, I got that line at EMS IIRC.

Note: the 33' length works out great for a 100' chunk of line.

Time really isn't in my vocabulary right now...I've accepted a new role at another company and start there days before bow opener. Not going to have much free time in the short-term with my schedule.

Make your own, i do 1/2in double braid nylon for the main line and 3/8 in double braid nylon for the prussic knot loop. You can buy it all but the foot at www.ropeandknotsupply.com for much cheaper than buying 1 line for $40. I do like 20-25 ft for the main line then about 4-5 ft for each prussic knot loop I think. PM me if you need more details I'm typing this from work on my phone.

If you're pressed for time and don't feel like making your own, Dicks in Webster has a 3pk of HSS Lifelines for $69.97. Right now, if you buy anything from there, there is a survey on the receipt. If you fill it out online, you get a $10 off a $50+ purchase. So, go in buy a soda, get the receipt, fill out the survey, and get your $10 off coupon to use towards your Lifelines. If you get the 3pk for $69.97, after the $10 coupon, you'll get them for $20/each.
