BKhunter
As long as you are taking it in a legal manner why not? If you are looking for meat for the freezer I usually always select a doe for this purpose.

Merlot
If you're not violating any local ordinance, I would. Besides, the drag will be a short one.

Uncle Nicky
It all depends where your head is at, I would think. If you want to think of it as hunting and brag on your accomplishment, then let her walk. If you want to think of it as a shopping trip with a little work added in, hurry up & get your bow before she leaves.

growalot
If you have been feeding the birds in your yard and she is conditioned to coming in for the seed no and not legalif feeder is still full..that said.. hunting is opportunity whether naturally occurring or striven for in legal ways...it is the luck of the draw on any given day..finally the skill you have achieved in the weapons of your choice....So you need to decide if it's hunting or not. I once spotted a doe 100 yrds down on a plot trail from PC window...in my bath robe and slippers I walked out with my browning stepped up on a stump next to the dog kennel and dropped her... went in got dressed and retrieved her....did my wearing a robe and slipper not make it a hunt? If I was in camo and a blind and she was spotted 100yrds out and killed would that really make a difference...think about it.....
NFA-ADK
Take her, this is not hunting it's food gathering! You can hunt later.

BizCT
She will probably run into that neighbors yard, so hopefully you can get recovery permission
steve863
Is she still there, and will she remain there once you step out of the house with the bow? If you really want some meat, you shouldn't be fussing around and asking peoples opinions on the internet. I surely wouldn't.
