Huge 6-Point

Here is a 6-point my buddy Jim took on opening day in Onondaga County.. the buck grossed 111-0 B&C and netted 109 B&C. Bases were 5" and the brow tines measured 6" long. Sorry guys he got rid of the jaw before I could age it.

That he was.. Jim jumped the buck along with a doe laying in a goldenrod field... the buck refused to leave the doe which contributed to his demise..lol

  I have a set of antlers that are huge I have to take a pic of them they are a set and it is a six pointer. The g1 are 9 or ten inches.  I found them at my old house I don't know if they are duplicates,  They look real I would have loved to see this deer on the hoof.  I will try to remember to put them up tonight.

  Now by no mean am i taken away from this buck plus these are just drops and I dream every night that he is still out there and bigger than the drops.

these, in my opinion, are great deer to get out of the gene pool.  very massive, old deer with poor genes

Did you find out how old he was? He almost looks like he was on the downhill slide. Congrats to your buddy.

He threw the jaw away before I could age it.. but he didn't have the signs of a buck thats was past his prime if I had to guess by his body condition and features he was between 3.5 -4.5... its a common misconception that a big buck with not so many points is on the downward slope. Thats not how it works...He was just genetically destined to be a 6-point.
