wooly
Found my first fawn of the year today! He didn't stick around long so I only got one burst of him in the same pose before he was gone with the wind! ...also pretty happy to get my first decent shot of a kingfisher the other day! I hope to spend a little more time trying to get some better shots of these guys soon.

Pygmy
Great shots, as always, My Friend... The fawn is obviously advanced beyond the "lie still and not move" stage, judging from it's alert eyes and erect ears. Nice kingfisher picture..Back in my misspent youth, kingfishers were on the list of unprotected birds...I was on the riverbank and one came streaking broadside up the river. I was in my young " If it flies it dies" stage... I led the bird with my 12 gauge and watched the shot charge hit the water harmlessly behind the speeding bird.. Since then I have been glad I missed...I enjoy watching them today...

wooly
I caught up to the little squirt again on Sunday while waiting on a beaver run. He came walking across the dam in the creek and I found him bedded in the brush on the other side. He climbed up the bank beside me and we took a little walk down the creek together before he bedded again in some tall grass. .. and the color version of that B+W!
