What type of food are you into?  There are lots of great options.  

TRATA as mentioned above is a unique place that is consistently good, as is anything in Village Gate.

Dinosaur for BBQ, Tony D's for Italian.  

Near Tap and Mallet and for a bit less $... La Casa for Mexican, or Napa for Pizza. 

Swiftwater Brewing is close to Tap and Mallet... thats a cool place to try more beers, but food menu is small.
