Claymores !

Seriously though. Opening day of gun, 2nd day of gun , thanksgiving , first day of ML ( to count automatic muzzleloader shots I hear ) and last day of ml. Hopefully my daughter can accompany me on as many as possible. Muzzleloader would be choice of weapon. Don't have a bow and regret and know what I'm missing. Hopefully this year I'll get one

Easy....I'd hunt out of a stable stand, either ground or elevated with a rifle, hopefully with a possibility of some relatively long shots..

Then after I got some meat, I'd go do something fun, like fishing, bird or waterfowl hunting or small game hunting.

Now if I lived in an area where I could effectively hunt mostly by glassing/spot stalking, I'd be more interested in deer hunting.

If I only had 5 days to hunt, I would do all 5 days in a row and make a camp somewhere. What I used would depend on the season. Only 5 days? Probably early bow so a tent camp would be comfortable. As for how? That would depend on weather. Sit, still hunt, who knows.

Mine used to be first five of rifle but lately I've missed a lot of opportunities during late bow (as pointed out by my trailcams) so now I'm going to have to say week before gun opener in a freestanding with bow or crossbow if I haven't had enough time to practice.

I'm with Taylormike. Maybe a day here or there early in bowseason and then around nov 10th.

This was my first year bowhunting and I enjoyed it way more than the gun season.

The way I hunt would depend on the weather. I shot a doe this year with my bow after sneaking up on her on the ground on the way to my stand. That was pretty awesome.

Fun? This is self-inflicted mental torture trying to figure out where to be at the exact right time! Kidding, of course!!!

Strictly SZ and northern 8F:  Up close & personal in a tree stand with archery tackle somewhere in the Nov 8th (+/-5 days) timeframe. Better yet, with my Xbow giving me an additional 10-15yrd ethical shot at a bruiser. Might have to break out a single day for a meat hunt in early October when the deer are still fairly predictable to/from food sources.

Nov 3rd - 7th.  I love hunting with a bow but with only 5 days to hunt I'd want to use a rifle to maximize my range. I'd want to be set up in tree stand that borders a brush lot and where other types of cover and food come together. A goldenrod/grass field and woods, within 100 yards of a freshly picked corn field. I'd hope for high barometric pressure and light winds. Once I shoot a nice buck in the first day or so, I'd switch to my bow or cap lock.
