43 degrees

This morning when we woke up...almost 9a.m. we have climbed to 51...I had the flannels on and a blanket for the first time this summer. leaves are changing..well have been for a week now...should be good fall foliage.

I'd love having these cold mornings for the opener...I do want a doe as soon as possible and I HATE FLIES ...I will skin debone and drive to Wilsons  with a cooler full of meat as soon as possible...Lets see if they co-operate this year...

It was 40 degrees at 7:00 a.m. this morning on Taborton Mountain.  Left all the windows open last night...  Oops.  Almost started a fire. 

This week's morning temperatures have already started a fire in me.  Itchin'.

It felt pretty "deery" walking to the driveway at 5:30 this morning. That crisp, fresh morning perked me up better than coffee!

I always take a peek at my weather station thing on the wall before I leave for work and it said 38 degrees this morning!! That was at 445am. I opened the door and it sure felt amazing! I love fall weather...I wish it could be fall all year round. These cool temps are making my buck fever go into over drive!!!

It's 73 out right now but the mornings are cooler that's for sure, hope some of this cool weather sticks around for opening week plus!  It is only getting down into the lower 60's but that is cold for LI, hope we get some 50's for opening week!  It does feel good!
