I think it's close enough to pre-rut that my butt needs to be in the woods! 

Warm weather this week along with a drop for Saturday has me pumped up!  Unless its high winds or bad rain I want to get out!  I just have a feeling they will be on the move this weekend.  Sunday might see some good action early if it's as cold as they say but they are calling for high winds so far.  Hope that part changes.  Regardless I would get out if you can, only takes one hot doe to change things!

Ya high winds it is. 40 mph gusts possible sat! Man hope its not as bad and Sunday could be the day of the weekend

Might be a rifle range day Sat?  My buddy wants to hunt so if he is in I am in, otherwise it's time to check the guns.  Looking forward to next weekend after this one.  I took off Friday and Monday and hope to see some good movement!

Cam had doe and then buck 15 minutes later with nose to the ground. I took a walk in high winds other day and snuck up on 2 does and 3 bucks all bedded by blow downs in middle of hardwoods. Still hunt and play the wind IMO. Donning rain gear of course.

I'm hoping for rain , checked my shallow well yesterday and the level dropped 5 feet !

I'm tempted to sit saturday and sunday, not sure if it will be my "rut" spot or not. I leave this one area alone because it is small and I only have 1 set, I'm thinking of throwing up another stand near by.

Supposed to rain for the next 4 days here, depending on how that is....I was going to take off tomoorw afternoon and hunt right through the weekend.

Sat. Is out , calling hours and windy . Little less wind Sunday and good direction  for my leeward side stands.

Looks absolutely terrible.

What a junk bunch of weather. It was mid july weather this past tuesday and now we lose more days to rain! Saturday and sunday forecasts are atrocious.

Looks like I will get my chance to hunt in some ugly weather and rain just to make sure that I still don't like hunting in the rain....

I'll be up north for the rifle opener.. supposed to snow saturday.

I'll take temps in the 40's w some winds,,, instead of temps in the 70's and sunny...... like it's been.  seeing 20-30mph winds sat and 10-20 for sunday. Sat would be a good day to hunt in an area that is protected by the wind as deer will feel comfortable there. The leaves will be wet, which makes for an more quite walk into the stand. It's starting to feel like deer season a little now.

Rain and 25-30 mph winds with gusts to 40 on Sat.

Sunday dry 20- 25 mph winds .

May sit a bit Sunday and Monday.
