Bowshotmuzzleloader
First off I hope everybody has a safe and successful morning tomorrow !!!!!! I would just like to remind everyone to be careful of the ticks it's going to be warm and they will be active as heck, also if you shoot a deer it's best to skin it while it's warm and get the hide in a bag before it cools and these critters start looking for a new home... Im just stating this so you can get it in the back of your mind especially if you have young children or pets at home, chances are you bring a deer home your bringing ticks home also.. Good luck ....

growalot
Oh boy my buck was loaded with engorged ticks and many live running deer lice....I'm still scratching...and when I ripped out his esophagus the out side of it was coated with many nodules that reminded me of deer droppings encased in membranes.. Never seen that ever before.

They seem almost un-killable. I suspect even cockroaches are envious.

We used a mini blow torch, can beat it. We had them all over my buck, now they will hang outside before they come in the shed. Nothing like cutting up a deer and find a tick on your neck. Flat of my Jack knife against tree stand...they are very tough to kill the normal squeeze will not do.

Grizz1219
Sawyers spray.... spray the outer camo you wear till damp, put in a trash bag for 24 hours with as much air as you can get out of it, remove from bag, let air dry.... Will last 6 weeks even with washing... you will think ticks are extinct...
