Ok just fire all of them some body Please!... Today severe weather high winds 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms all day...It's breezing 60 and up until just now blue skies and sunny. So I look again 30% chance of rain and overcast. Good thing I didn't listen and went for my walk and did a little work... Then I click on the SEVERE weather alert tab...Flooding Thursday through Saturday.I'm thinking I'm not holding my breath, seeing it's Tuesday and they couldn't get it right in an 8hr time frame let alone several days.

What really bothers me about this is the satellites.. I watched a show about all the ones circling the earth and how they all map every single aspect of our world 24/7. Temps, layered wind currents and speeds, ocean currents and speeds...ect...ect..ect and they don't' seem to get as close to being right as the guys did when I was a kid 50 bleeping years ago! When technology like we have today, was only in comic books!

OK I'm done...

If it's going to flood the rain had better start soon...because I have been out all morning until 1:30 and it was windy but gorgeous to work. Just as I hit the door it started to sprinkle but that was only enough to wet the drive. It is 46.8 which means 44 here, tops. That is a 4 degree drop since 6am this morning. So again so much for rain all day....

They finally got it right....we have well over an inch of wet snow and it's still snowing so we could get the 1-3 they predicted. though the winds barely moving the flag so 20mph with 40gusts isn't any where near us as of yet. Think I'll have time to finish trimming the pear trees and grapes can't complain it's really pretty out there. and it will keep the Toms from being to "frisky" with the hens too early in the season.

We're on sump pump/crock watch. Sump is taking on water and it's moving it out once every few minutes.

Normal operation for most people, but my house either floods like a pool or is bone dry. Getting water into the crock at all has never happened (outside of fully flooding from other points of entry in the basement), so this is a first. Probably as close to flooding as I can get before actually flooding out. I have a heavy leak on one of the clamps/gaskets joining my outlet pipes right at the corner of my foundation - where the pipe leading to daylight connects. Was planning on grabbing the parts this weekend, and it may end up costing me since I am sure that water is recirculating back into the crock.

Part of what makes my house flood is also what makes the water leave fast, too. Hoping as the hours go by, it improves quickly. We're getting mixed wet snow and not a lot of precipitation.
