Well zero seen again conditions were great for a mid day but c'est la vie!

I did hang and lock on a hawk hang on so I did get that accomplished.

Which reminded me how great my molle frame packenstein (frankenpack) is:

i have hiked ladder stands in over a mile...cost me 15 bucks and I use all my old packs on it 3rd year using it.

Changing at work in 10 minutes and headed out for a sit in a close stand for an east wind til dark.  this is my view from that stand!  Hope it has a deer in it tonite!

My wife took all next week off in case we wanted to do something for our 8th year wedding 20th yr together anniversary on tuesday.  

So far no plans but the kids spending a few nights w/Noni & Opa and lots of AM hunting for me.

Doe.....I've seen a ton of little bucks running around I let them pass they are starting to spar and separate though I have one big 6 pointer who is a bully lol the rut should be interesting cause there's a couple big boys around  we shall see though 340 acres is allot of land and allot of ground to cover

Lol it's accurate out passed that ...it's not the bow it's the shooter and I don't buy used bows never have ..I like warranty's in case something breaks

Well, awesome and eventful night. I finally checked something off the bucket list.... Took my son hunting ! He's only 3.5 and I figured we might spook something at some point. Threw the blind up in the neighbors field and off we went. Wouldn't you know it a couple doe came out after a short time! My son actually waved at then but thankfully we were in the shadow of the blind. We watched them for awhile then I decided to take the shot. She was at 20 yrds broadside. Unfortunately, I grazed the blind window and buried a rage right below her. They came in from a different route and I hadn't had that window open enough to shoot, apparently. Either way, he said he had fun and that we will get her next time !! What a blessing. Tonight will be a night I NEVER forget.
