lucky for him he was only a half mile from an old logging road and it took him and a female client he was guiding an hour to get the deer out.

Dragged a 210 lbs monster about a mile in 3 ft of snow uphill.. no 4 wheeler or tractor took me 4 1/2 hrs. But  iwould do it again!

I've never had to drag anything that heavy . Bought an ATV a couple years ago . I think I could handle it now . Awesome buck . Congrats !

If I had downed that animal I don't care how long it took to drag it the reward is well worth it. Congrats on that buck.

I know from past experience that the snow will help in dragging that buck. Especially if it's down hill.

And no i would not drag it. That's what they make knifes for.
