Are women's hunting jackets cut differently than men's?

Walmart has some hunting clothing on clearance, most of it being women's. I was eyeing this one jacket/inner layer for $13, originally $20. linky I didn't mind the pink accents, but I was worried that it had a women's "cut" instead of a men's. I didn't try it on.

I asked my resident womens clothes expert, my wife. She says that women's clothes are usually cut for a woman. But perhaps if ya buy a larger size it just might fit. Try it on and if it fits, go with it!

And ya know, real men can wear pink!

yeah, my wife said they'd be bigger in the front chest and rear end, and smaller in the shoulders. smaller shoulders is the deal killer. good deal, though, for a light jacket or layer for someone.

yeah, but it probably would have been tight around the shoulders. Slim pickens in the clearance aisle for guys. I'm trying to stick to the better quality stuff, anyway.

When I was dating my wife many years ago, I had a polo shirt that was a distinct shade of yellow. Years later she told me that soon after we moved in together, the "banana shirt" had an unfortunate accident and was never seen again.

yes look at the she line of hunting clothes they are narrower @ the waist [ the jackets and shirts] the pants are bigger in the hips

You use Wolcs PA chest girth chart, it's good for everything.
