Ice jam and flooding in my home town with pics

We had a town evacuation because of a ice jam in the cohocton river. we stayed and rode it out,  it’s our fourth flooding since we have lived in our house. No major damage to our property but others did not fair well.. the second picture is my shed , it sets 2 feet off the ground..

Yeah, they booted me out of the Legion at about 2:00 PM....I had to leave HALF a beer on the bar  !!

I understand they also had some ice jam flooding in the Cameron Mills area on the Canisteo...

Yeah I use to deliver fuel out of Campbell and flooding was always a concern during the winter season.

Here are a few from Cazenovia creek which runs through south buffalo......the ice was jamming up on all the bridges and caused quite a mess....alot of basements were flooding due to the sewers backing up.

I was in serious panic mode...this creek is only a block from my rental property.

As an aside, I know Campbell. Years ago my uncle was a JP there. My cousin still lives there too.

Sylvan beach is evac some people this morn. Fish Creek is over the banks.  And we have about 10 inches .

My 60 ft foot bridge the creek bed is six ft below lowest point..

I stopped at the Legion yesterday to get my replacement beer...One of the guys had gone into the basement earlier and there was a fish swimming around in there...
