I am confused why it’s ok for you to small game hunt on the trail and he can’t big game hunt near the trail.  Not the spot I would choose but I see no reason why it’s a scumbag move.

Hate to hijack a thread, but I had some jack wagon small game hunter messing up my bow hunt, the nerve of some hunters...

Perhaps he thought it was a well used and manicured deer trail.  The mother load of all deer trails.  A deer highway.

we went from me talking about a guy bow  hunting over a market trail and behind posted signs . Which I just was wondering what you guys think about that  and the legality of it .

 

To guys talking about who got the right to hunt what animals on public land .

And how do you no he dont own that land. 

Those are not my words and I did not even ask that question. 

Actually wanted to ask another question about something but I'm seriously considering not even bothering since it will only be twisted into something else looks like .

This world would be so much better off if people would mind their own business and not be so concerned what others do. Guy wants to hunt over a trail on public land so be it. You want to small game hunt so be it. Wave and move on, its actually quite simple. How small is this prooerty that you are concerned about this one little area, must be a tiny peice of public land?

I think it's around 1000 acres 

I dont know why you keep  insisting  on saying  I was mad at the guy for bow hunting  on the same trail  as me , I could care less I just thought it  was strange. and kind of not safe for him to be there in all camo in a climber

Especially when he was hunting 5 feet from a posted sign .

and not wave me off warn  me he was there .

 

 

And it made me wonder about the regulations  of hunting on trails . I always assumed you can,  but I never was %100 sure about it .

Never hurts to ask  so I thought  .

But in reality, who cares, you should have not given it any thought and just moved on. At least thats what i would have done. Making an inquiry is fine but insinuating this guy maybe a scumbag was in poor taste.

Well that is what I did I waved and walked off  .

I guess the title  I used was  a poor choice of words.

I dont know but I can tell you in that place  there small game hunting like 90% of the guys you see because they release pheasants there .
