Out this am on private in 3g. North wind and not as cold as predicted. Rain overnight made it a quiet walk in. Something came through just after sunrise. Didn't see the head but small body. Crossed the trail I used to walk in and likely caught my scent. Blew and ran off. That was it till 830 and I split for work.

Also, either the worst turkey caller in the world thinks season starts a little early or an old hen was hammering away just after dawn about 100 yds from me. It was comical to hear. We all try to sound perfect when we call for turkeys but it is amazing what bad turkey callers actual turkeys would be.
