 Tell her to  move her car out of the garage.  She usually lays down the tarp ,gets  out a pot for tenderloins , skinning knives...  trash bag for trimmings.

Then it's my best friend of 45 years . And my uncle .

I dont normally tell anyone right off...If I am staying at my camp I always let the wife know everything is ok once I am back at the cabin and would mention it, or if I was planning on being home that evening if I was running late. I guess I kind of expect to shoot one and they expect me to, so....? If asked I tell.

It depends....wife if I am going to be late, which is typically the case, since 95% of the time I arrow deer late in the day. Processor if close to closing time to see if he will stay open for me....particularly if the weather is warm. Next would be a text to long time my hunting buddy followed by a post to this forum.

Only shot I wall hanger, so in that instance I called my son to share the moment and take photos.
