My friend had a packet he threw in the fire to make it burn green and blue, it was pretty cool

I buy these every year for the GF for her family camping trip.

You can get the same effect by throwing old x-mas lights into the fire. We used to cut up a few pieces from old lights but started thinking about the toxicity of the fumes so we stopped, although the colors were cool!

Copper pipe with a section of old garden hose also works.  We used to bring them camping many years ago.

Fall campfires are the best. 

Cool in the evening, trees changing colors.  53°. Had a frost the past two nights.

I haven’t sat next to a real wood fire (not propane or Gas) in years. I remember as a kid in lake George I threw the liquid from a candle into the fire and it shot out on everyone’s legs.

Nice burn...but two points of slight observation/criticism:
1. Lose the screen
